@kelarly VERY NICE. But I don't really like the way everything is way too linear. Like in Verdanta the darkness and rain are fixed. In my upcoming game, Clan Wars: The Orb of Truth (released a teaser and official trailer, channel full information, and gameplay vid + interview from VirtualJunky to be released!), everything is random, and there is no overview map thing. But anyway your game looks AMAZING!!!

Dude I am in LOVE with Vedanta! It's so well made! I'm not making an rpg exactly but I enjoy making areas and events. I have no idea how to balance out enemies and characters so i just use the game as a creative tool. Just looking at this has given me a lot of inspiration and I'm going to go back and remake some of my more boring areas. If you don't mind me asking how do you get the town name to show up like that?

Fantastic! Really. The only thing that made me "WTF" a bit was that you used the worldmap-sprite of the airship for boarding in a town. I personally would've used some sort of rope, teleport or whatever to avoid proportion-problems.

Other tracks I can suggest is 'Choice of Hero' and the Cabal OST, since they are more aimed at the rock/techno genre. Since they are widely avialable at the official site, they are free and they sound pretty good too which makes it a less dodgy option. That said, I uploaded the whole Cabal OST to megauploads if you ever need to check it out.

Final Fantasy XIII theme at 1:50

The music choices are pretty good. Vandata is definitely my favourite of the lot. Try to make sure though that in your final release of your game, you don't include too many .mp3 format tracks, and were you can, convert them to .Ogg format since it is generally a smaller file so people don't get put off at the final filesize.

If you need more tracks I can suggest the 'Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter OST' as it is generally the style of music you have here.

When you choose the background, you have to click on the show in editor otion. It will show up in the game regarless though.

Try this. When you have the map set to have a weather effect, when you make the transfer events to other maps without eather, in those events have it stop the weather. Hope you understood that.

I got them from another game, it's called, "The Cartographer." It's a pretty good game and has awesome graphics. I don't know if they made them, or someone else did, but I deffinately did not make them.

I get my music from various video games. For this game though, I use a lot of Armored Core music. For Castle Oblivion, I used a lot of Kingdom Hearts music.

Actually, I copied them from a game called "The Cartographer", which had lots of unique tiles. So I just borrowed some from that game.
