Yes he's a great interpret of Schumann...but also of others ;) ! Look at his Brahms-Paganini variations ! I think he looks as dedicated as if he was consecrated completely to his piano as vocation...it's almost mystical ! for me he's one of my favorite interpret

I regard Emil as one of the best interpreters of Schumann . His Nachtstuke is incredible.

Agree with you also,but I usally prefer him playing russian repertory,to fell somethink really magic.
