I agree, Isaacji. How much sweeter is such purity of romance compared to the crude lust that passes for romance more often in today's movies! Of course, we know that in real life one seldom witnesses such scenes, but they did set high and distinctive standards for viewers in the old Bombay cinema as you rightly suggested.
