the soundtrack was better for the Minish Cap.....there was very little variety in music for Phanom Hourglass. Especially in the dungeons. Plus having to go through the Ocean King temple over and over was frustrating.

...but the game play was still good and it was still fun to play.

I agree....the music was bloody awful. Every dungeon had the same theme. Then there is all that sneaking around those stupid phantoms as if link has become solid snake or something.

To sum it up for you, the reason there wasn't a variety of music was because they could NOT fit anymore audio into the game. The makers even STATED that.

And for sneaking around, its just like in OoC where you had to sneak around Hyrule's guards.
