You can't say that this is a GNR cover made by VR, 'cause almost all the members in VR are former GNR. Mr. Izzy Stradlin composed this masterpiece, but everyone in the then GNR lineup (Axl, Slash, Duff and Steven) had something to add. All the rights of the old GNR catalogue is shared by Axl and his former bandmates. For example, if you go to a Roger Watters show and he plays Another Brick in The Wall, you can't say that he's playing a Pink Floyd Cover, because it's his song. Did you get it?

Yes, it was a passing note. He was sliding up the scale in 6ths on the G and top E strings, something he does alot when playing acoustice guitar. It clashed because Duff wasn't doing the same on his guitar, but then alot of what Slash does live clashes.
