do all Parker have the built in acoustic? im thinking about a Parker Guitars RF522 Nitefly Radial w/ Seymour Duncans and Fishman Piezo Electric Guitar...but i wanna make sure i get the ball bearing bridge and acoustic simulator...also anyone know if this is an Active guitar...i dont know much about these guitars

@xlxfinaldeathwishxlx If it's got the fishman piezo it does the acoustic sound. Obviously this guy has put it through an acoustic amp simulator too.

The Parkers have an active preamp to mix the piezo and normal magnetic tones so they both come out active with a mono lead plugged in. If you plug in a stereo lead the piezo go through the preamp and out one half of the stereo and the magnetic pickups don't go through the preamp (so you can run to two amps and use a vintage fuzz with the mags)!

Boss AC-3 is simulator stomp box but piezo is pickup line on the bridge capture sound from body and strings. I think piezo should work better than stomp box.

I actually bought one of these guitars - for the design - NO, I think the design is probably the worst ever! For the tone on the pickups- NO, it sounds no better than any other guitar. For the ease of servicing - NO, others are far better. But when you use the piezo pickups, this sounds better than any other guitar on the market, and that's the only reason I bought one!! For normal use, give me Fender any day, but for piezo playing this Parker kicks the crap out of anything else available!!

that's not clean is it? It's got reverb, delay and chorus. I mean it's a really nice guitar, and the piezos in this thing are amazing- but it's not fair to say that this is clean.

@Muzikman127. I thing you're confusing what is "clean" and it's opposite, what is "dirty" channels. This is clean and there is no way you can say that it isn't. A dirty channel has far more distortion and "grunge" in it. There is nothing to stop you putting reverb, special FX or anything else into a clean channel - it simply means that it does not have the distortion that dirty channels have. Listen to the bell-like tones that this guitar has, you don't get that with non-clean channels.

@talpoz. Piezo is designed to produce a clean, uncluttered sound; that's why this guitar sounds so good on the piezo setting. On every other setting it is no better than a thousand other guitars but on piezo, it kicks the stuffing out of anything else and, really, that's it's only claim to fame!!

The stainless frets never wear, they hold perfect tuning, the neck is as close to perfect as youll find, the tremolo is awesome, the ergonomics are fantastic, they are lightweight...they are simply like nothing else on the market!

@LessthanJake14 The primary difference between all the Parker Fly models is in the woods used to construct them. Some also have different pickups.

Deluxe = Poplar body, Basswood neck, Dimarzio pickups.

Supreme = Bog Leaf Maple body, Basswood neck, Dimarzio pickups.

Classic = Mahogany body, Basswood neck, Dimarzio pickups.

Mojo = All Mahogany, Seymour Duncan pickups.

Fantastic piece of playing - pity about the guitar! This must rank as being probably one of the most ugly guitars ever invented but this guy makes it sound superb! I must admit, it has one of the best piezo bridge sounds I've heard. It'll be interesting to see what Washburn do with this since they've taken over production.
