It has nothing to do with them being gay or bi, but it does have everything to do with pleasing their fans. It has to be done and str8 people have to realize that they are in the minority now compared to what's out there. Many people are not totally str8 anymore and the industry has to roll with it.

How can you know it isn't true? You can't, because it is. I have known families (including my own) who have had children as young as three or four show signs of homosexuality who later told their parents they were gay when they grew older. Kids who were raised in exactly the same way as their straight siblings. Often these children don't know why they feel different, and when they come to understand what homosexuality is they finally have a name to put to what they've felt all their lives.
