  • EAGLES 4 LIFE , BITCH!

  • this is philly we dont fucks with the rest of PA

  • eagles r the team to beat in the nfl after signing nnamdi.

  • @raider1297 n honestly i don't even know what a burn zone is lol? but i do have one crazy stat about him. All season teams threw Nnamdi's way 27 times with only 10 completions. TEAMS THREW 27 TIMES lol. there is only 16 games a season. 27 times. only 10 completions. yuuup one man does make a difference. look throughout history Jesus, Martin Luther King, etc go take ur burn zone stat somewhere else... Nnamdi is not Raider no more.

  • @raider1297 u wanna know why ur stupid? i said "D.Bowe n Baldwin will run marathans etc" that should automatically give away that i am a Chiefs fan u idiot. why would u think chargers? when the Chiefs played the Raiders we threw it to Nnamdi's side twice. n we played the Raiders twice...he averaged one throw a game lol. If he is averaging one throw a game..he obviously makes a difference...

  • Maybe he can help the Eagles win A superbowl and let that lone trophy sit in their office.

    We waiting with 5 already

  • Go Eagles!

  • WELCOME TO DA JETS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @recivercorner11 "welcome to the jets" Lol. I can't stop laughing at your enthusiasm. You were so sure the jets were gonna get him -.-"

  • @spanishguido its aight we resigned cromartie and got plaxico burress, asomugha is a great player but i think the jets still did alright in free agency

  • @recivercorner11 don't see the jets making it to the AFC championship again. They did good in free agency, but opposed to where they were at the end of the season last year, they're about the same.

  • @spanishguido well , we will see

  • I'm a Chiefs fan all the way, but the best part of that video is Larry Johnson getting it handed to him haha! That guy was awful

  • is it me or the Jets r a dyasnty?

  • @kelvieten you, lol, the jets are a solid team even with Nnamdi but still havent won anything yet, when u win a couple of super bowls in the next years ull be a dynasty, but not yet

  • Revis and Asomugha on the same team!??!?!?!?!!!

  • @ssage232 it lookslike he will thejets willbe BEAST

  • even if the jets sign him which i doubt they will, they still wont win because of thier lack of offense. sanchez is a bit overrated and b.edwards wont be returning

  • Comment removed

  • Nnamdi is a beast. sorry Raider fans. He was a big reason u guys went 6-0 in ur division. u guys sucked at stopping the run now u guys are gonna suck in the pass too. ur new shutdown corneback is who Stanford Rhoutt -_-. D.Bowe n Baldwin willl run marathans around him. n please don't say one man doesn't make a difference Nnamdi shut down one side of the field. teams threw away from him. u either had to run or throw away from him. now without Nnamdi. u guys will give up more touchdowns guaranteed

  • @ChristSwagg1 lol stupid chiefs fan, u had to be, if not then a charger, but u couldnt be anyone else, dude...one player doesnt make a difference and yes i said it, Nnamdi is great and the best cb in the league...but ALL of our secondary is overrated as hell because of nnamdi, chris johnson??? stanford routt?? those guys had a freaking combined 35% burn zone the 2 of them, yeah nnamdi had a 31% but the other 2 combined for 35%...dude u all are stupid

  • No one can pay him more than the bucs. Were like 47mil under the cap and maybe more if it's raised in the new CBA.

Big bank take lil bank. But I'd rather spend money on sidney rice or Manningham. RB and the OL

  • jets probably

  • going to da eagles

  • EAGLES

  • top 3 teams in grabbing him is eagles texans and cowboys i think cowboys have upper hand cause there going to offer him a shit load of money

  • @texanfan1994 the Cowboys are so far over the cap right now. They have not a chance to sign Asomugha.

  • everyones after nnamdi

  • Ravens will get him

  • @tyronejonez thad be a good fit

  • 1:20...seems like it was just a quarterback error....I didn't really like the coverage on the play, but Nnamdi probably saw the misread...

  • @msanna1011 Me too, but i love football

  • @mopies1 hahaa

  • He would look beautiful with a star on his helmet! :D

  • @TheRDawg52 Yeah like that's ever gonna happen Craven fan!

  • Future Houston Texan

  • Packers all dayyy

  • come on Lions get this guy. With our D-line and this guy we will hands down be in the playoffs..

  • Nnamdi Asomugha, Jimmy Smith, and Ed Reed in the same defensive backfield is a nightmare for NFL quarterbacks that's about to become reality.

  • @matthewleavey nnamdi asomugha, asante samuel, and DRC in the same defensive backfield is a nightmare for NFL quarterbacks thats ACTUALLY about to become reality...

  • @matthewleavey Nnamdi DRC Asante.. even better.

  • Cowboys.... Rob's picking him up.

  • future cowboy !!!

  • @laman1982 sorry ... skins...

  • @manslaughterin9 wrong jerry is gonna pay top dollar and thats what he wants cowboys!!

  • @laman1982 No he will be an Eagles. sorry to burst ur buble. lol haha

  • @eaglenation55 hahaha no way! TEXANS! ! ! They desperatedly need to improve there pass defense.

  • @laman1982 he also wants to win a championship bro, haha that isnt going to happen any time soon in dallas. E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!!

  • If nnamdi came to the falcons, i would drop outta college, and offer my services as his pregame handjob contributor......quote me on that one.

  • REPOST this in HD man the quality is horrible!

  • You know making a highlight video for a shutdown corner is not all about interceptions. There should be more highlights

  • the giants dont really need him we already got a yonger version of him (prince akumara) but if we do take him the giants defence will be even more unstopable

  • future RAVENS!!!!

  • @TwiggyEmergency future EAGLE lol

  • future RAVEN

  • to bad this girl has to play for the JOKEland Gayders.. pussy asses get handled when you play REAL football when bmore smacks those soft lil asses around

  • He stay in Oakland if the cba go to like one more month he signing back to the raiders and he said he like to be back

  • shitty video only like 6 plays

  • First and foremost lets get the CBA sorted out we all want and need football next season. Then when it gets sorted(Hopefully soon) we(Eagles) can ship Kolb out for a first round pick. But we get Nnamdi on free agency now we have two brilliant CBs in the backfield we use our 1st Round pick on OL then use the acquired first round pick on getting a LB or DE to get some pressure. The only offenceive position we need to sort out is OL lets focuse on D this year

  • hurry the heck up cba!! so that the eagles can go after this guy!!

  • What highlights one int and two tipped passes no QB dare throws his way!

  • First, I'm a jets fan so of course I love D-Revis, but I have the ball to admit that Nnamdi does more for his team and man, the guy hits like a line-backer but runs like a reciever

  • come back to oakland nnamdi ;(

  • 10 ppl were shutdown by Nnamdi Asomugha

  • which pixel is nnamdi?

  • @ncavoto96 The one shuting down every reciever and making hits

  • @TheEman67 shut up faggit ur not funny

  • @ethiohusteljr faggit??? how i wasn't even trying to be funny but whatever

  • @TheEman67 im sorry man i tryed to reply to ncavoto96 really sorry!

  • He will be playing on the other side of Asante Samuel next year

  • @eagleboy201 Actually he'll still wear Silver & Black next year.

  • @LosAngelesIzTheBest Nnamdi wants to actually win! not be on a team that is the laughing stock of the NFL.

  • @eagleboy201 He's also underrated. He's not going to pull off a LeBron James.

  • @LosAngelesIzTheBest if he has a opprotunity to play in philly he will pull a Lebron James in a heartbeat

  • @eagleboy201 And now look at him. LeBron is taking the easy way out and now everybody hates him, he betrayed his old team, and even old legends criticized him. And you know you did something wrong if you get Michael Jordan out to talk about you.

  • @LosAngelesIzTheBest I hate Lebron James!! i cant stand him. but with Nnamdi its different he's not in control of the raiders like Lebron was with the cavs . the raiders dont depend on Nnamdi like the cavs depended on Lebron Namdi is just a CB not a star QB or something if he came to the eagles he would not take over he would just be the missing piece. Lebron went to the heat and took over that team. so u cant compare them two

  • @eagleboy201 Nnamdi isn't a star like a QB, but he is our star CB and we do depend on him to shut down the field for us,

  • @LosAngelesIzTheBest it would be sad if you guys cant win just without a sertan CB!

  • @eagleboy201 Well our quarterback sucks, our wide receivers are decent, our o-line straight out sucks, and our special team is horrible.

  • If he came to the redskins, we would have the best secondary in the league.

    Landry

    D. Hall

    Atogwe

    Asomugha

  • @Fabu8246 too bad redskins are shite

  • Has a steeler fan Asomugha would fit perfectly on the Steeler Defense. Troy and Clark in Safety positions 8.5 out of 10. Harrison, Woodley, Timmons, Farrior. 10 out of 10. Hampton Keisel Smith 8 out of 10. Mcfadden Taylor. 5.5

Add Nnamdi with Mcfadden 8 add him with Taylor 9

    Come to Steeler Nation NNamdi

  • i hope he goes to the jets then they would have the 2 best CB in the nfl

  • @random4life1996 if anyones a chance to get him, its the niners

  • Nnamdi definitely isn't returning to Oakland after they just handed Stanford Routt 30 million.

  • nice music

Nnamdi is Shutdown number one corner in league

  • @TheEman67 hands down

  • @904duvalFLboy120 idk what your team is but i hope he come's to the Steelers

  • @TheTrueCbm Who cares? who cares? are you stupid.. do you even watch the Oakland Raiders play? Dont open your mouth if you dont watch the Raiders.. Revis got mossed by a 40 year old.. How can you say hes good?

  • Way better then Revis.. your drunk if you think Revis is better

  • @MikeSuth69 Who cares if you think he's better than Revis. They might be playing on the same team next year!

  • DeSean Jackson is campaigning for 21 to come to Philly in the Pro Bowl.

  • Listen up bitches the speculation is the Chargers are going to sign him to a 3 yr deal & Jammer is going to move to SS & we are going to add Von Miller to the mix to go along w/ probowler Shaun Phillips, so put yo money down on Da Bolts. Are ya feelin it ??? Yeahhh

  • EAGLES!!!!!!!!

  • So much better than that overrated Darrelle Revis punk. Enjoy the real shit !

  • pssh..revis isnt overrated at all..revis was number 1 this year..asomugha came a close number 2..it has been like this the past couple of years

  • @samoantoa08 Of course I know, I just hate the Jets, that's why. It doesn't go any further than that.

  • @samoantoa08

Revis was #1 in what? He played well once he got over his injury but Asomugha gave up less catches an yards. And unlike Revis, he didn't give up a TD all season.

  • yea but he only got thrown at 27 times and he didnt face a lot of talented receivers and qbs like revis did..if revis was thrown at 27 times he wouldve done the same most most likely..not to mention he missed almost all of training camp and he was injured for a lil bit..also injured when moss got that td on him

  • @samoantoa08

Nnamdi was thrown at that few times because he's THAT good. Revis is a great player too but teams tested and had success against him earlier in the season.

  • like i said nnamdi didnt play as much great receivers like revis did...only one i can think of and its Fitzgerald

  • @samoantoa08

Asomugha also had cover Dwayne Bowe and Reggie Wayne and shut. Regardless, I've never refuted Revis was tasked with covering better WRs overall this year. I simply brought up in terms of catches, yards and TDs given up, Asomugha was better.

  • And im saying u cant say he's better overall this year simply because of those numbers..U shud know more than likely Revis would've gotten the same stats if he played as few good receivers and wouldve gotten as few targets..the biggest reason why asomugha has fewer targets than revis is because he didnt go against as much good receivers who the QB trusts enough to throw to even with a great corner covering him..revis had double the good receivers and so he had double asomugha's targets

  • @samoantoa08

Why can't I say Asomugha played better based on those numbers? We can analyze how those numbers were compiled but the fact is, they did. Your second sentence is an assumption. None of us know for sure how Revis would have faired had been in the same position as Asomugha was. It's easy to say Revis likely would have been just as effective but there are no concrete facts to prove without a doubt either.

  • wow thats kinda dumb because i can argue that the other way around...no one knows for sure how Asomugha would have fared game in and game out against more good WRs and with more targets from better QBs..its easy to say Asomugha would likely have been just as effective but there are no concrete facts to prove without a doubt either..dont know if he could either from basically missing training camp..im just saying u cant go woofin Asomugha is better because Revis is at that level this year..

  • @samoantoa08

I've never claimed Asomugha would have played to the level or better than Revis did had they switched positions. You're using my response because you don't want to concede your argument is based in hypothetical scenarios. Who was the better player this season is a matter of opinion. I can "woof" whatever I want.

  • and guess what?...his team wins and was in the AFC champs..

  • Respond to this video...

What does that have to do with anything? Whose comparing the Jets to the Raiders? Revis has vastly superior players surrounding on him on defense and a significantly better team overall.

  • wow i can say i lost that argument..haha..that is true

  • @Ginga Asomugha is better than Revis. But Asomugha hardly gets the ball thrown to him.

  • @LosAngelesIzTheBest And the reason the ball is never thrown his way is because he'll make a big play and get a pick 6. Nnamdi Asomugha is the best corner in the NFL.

  • @MonsterCope993 Because Nnamdi Asomugha is the best shut down cornerback ever.

  • @Ginga kid ur stupid to say that qb's dont even throw the ball at him they dont take no shot's at him idiot through out 16 games the ball been thrown to him 3 times 3 f ing time's qb's through on revis n revis gets beat sometimes not alot but he does

  • @lilkingnuts

Why are you responding to me dumbass? Can't you see the long debate I had 5 days ago with some guy where I acknowledged how good Asomugha was in 2010? One thing though, the ball was thrown his way more than 16 times during the season. I don't where you got that statistic but it's a lie.

  • hes comin 2 philly lol

  • im a die hard raider fan itll be a shame to see thiz guy go

  • The Packers Should Get Him. Then The Pack Would Be Unstoppable.

Tramon Williams, Nick Collins, Charles Woodson. Nnamdi Asomugha, Sam Shields

  • Nnamdi is an unrestricted free agent and will be on another team next season. Fact.

  • ahhhh they days when nnamdi used to get thrown at lol

  • holy shit, what if he played on a decent team???

  • @kingdomheartsfanmkw9 8-8 is a decent record. 6-0 against the division is great. Go play your kindom hearts

  • welcome to philly

  • Asomugha is the best of all time and he will stay with Oakland I hope once a raider always a raider and I hope al Davis isn't to stupid to get rid if the best player he has ever acquired and if nnamdai u are reading this stay in Oakland baby

    ~raider nation~

  • why would he sign with the eagles???? the eagles have asante samuel and dimitri patterson who is good and YOUNG....come to the giants.....we need him because our corners can cover for shit

  • 9 qbs dislike throwing it to Nnamdi Asomugha.

  • come to Philly

  • ..stay in OAKLAND Nnamdi !!

  • Maybe he should go to KC! They have a young talented secondary! In exchange for eternal life, Al Davis was told to run the Raiders Organization into the ground! haha I'd be surprised if ANYONE that's a free agent stays there!

  • hope the eagles sign him

  • One of the most over rated players in football. So one dimensional it hurts.

  • @Mauhadeeb28

    How is he one dimensional?

  • @Ginga Rarely makes plays in run D and only plays one side of the field. He does great on that one side, but teams are able to play their #1 WR at X(aka against #2 CB) because Nnamdi doesn't play both sides(unless it is a XY bunch to the offensive weak side). Players Like Revis, Bailey and Talib play both sides equally well and coaches generally match those guys to the opponent's star receiver no matter where that receiver lines up. As where Nnamdi stays in one spot. Great at that 1 spot though.

  • @Mauhadeeb28

I've seen him make him numerous plays against the run so I don't know what you're talking about there. It isn't his fault the Raiders have a rigid system in regards to CBs plays one side plays the field. The fact that he shuts star WRs down whenever they're on his side of the field makes me thing he'd shut them down if he followed them all over the field like other top CBs do. Forget Pro Bowls, a three-time All-Pro isn't overrated dude.

  • @Ginga Numerous? According to Pro Football Focus he made 8 tackles against the run this season. only 1/2 of one was inside 5 yards from scrimmage. The rest were all beyond 8 yards from scrimmage. That doesn't sound like good run coverage from a "great" corner.

The Raiders do not have a rigid system. If he could play the other side they would play him there. It wouldn't make sense not to.

As for "all-pro", It is nothing more than writers opinions. No better than yours and mine.

  • @Mauhadeeb28

I meant throughout his career but in terms of tackling, this was his least productive season of his career. Part of that could be due to the nagging injuries he dealt with. Regardless, I know Asomugha is a willing tackler.

Not a lot of thing the Raiders do make sense period. I've seen nothing to make me beleive Asomugha can't shadow a WR all game. And looking back, before the season, the Raiders and Asomugha himself said he wouldn't strictly play on the right side this season.

  • @Ginga

I don't think anyone has tracked how many snaps he played on what side of the field but I wouldn't be surprised if he shadowed top WRs this season.

Fair enough. The guy isn't overrated though.

  • @Ginga He did shadow Fitzgerald and held him to 2 only two completions one to each side. Very good.

He is a good CB and very good at manning up. I can't deny that fact. My problem is that I do not believe he is the best or has been the best in any year of his career. Solid, but not the best. By one dimesional I mean he generally plays one side of the field and does not make many plays in the run. That may or may not be the D scheme, but that is what he is doing.

  • @Mauhadeeb28

You're entitled to that opinion. Whether he was officially the best any season of his career is up for debate but to be in the discussion for 5 seasons is impressive. He didn't make many plays against the run this season but I believe he has in previous seasons.

  • @Ginga Take the 2009 season for instance"

    In 357 snaps

    - He has allowed 7 of the 8 balls thrown his way to be completed, at a 87.5% completion rate

    - One of those balls was a TD

    - No interceptions or pass deflections

    - 3 missed tackles, which is relatively high for any starting CB in the league

    continued......

  • @Mauhadeeb28

How is that not stellar? If in 357 snaps, QBs only felt it was worth throwing the ball his way 8 times, that's ridiculous. Even if they completed 7 of them and one was a TD, it's still an amazing. Three missed tackles is high but I've watched CBs miss multiples tackles in just one game so I won't judge him too harshly on that end.

  • @Ginga Instead of going any further into it on this forum, because I can already see where this is going, I'm gonna to send you a few links and you can decide for yourself :)

  • @Ginga Now look at CBs like: Sheldon Brown

    - Allowed 7 completions of 22 balls thrown his way for a 31.8% completion rate

    - No TDs allowed, 3 INTs, 3 PDs, 1 missed tackle

    Or Jabari Greer

    - Allowed 16 completions of 38 balls thrown his way for a 42.1% completion rate

    - No TDs allowed, 1 INT, 7 PDs, 1 missed tackle

These numbers fair far better even in completion rate with many more balls thrown their way. Plus these two guys made ints and had far far far more tackles.

    continued.....

  • @Mauhadeeb28

If more balls are being thrown your way, of course you're going to have more interceptions and tackles. As for the completion rate, I liken it to baseball. A guy with less at bats, usually has a better batting average. As the season wears on though, his BA usually drops. Like Nnamdi said on First Take, if he has 10 thrown his way all season and gives up 10 passes, the completion percentage looks poor but that doesn't mean he isn't playing better coverage than others overall.

  • @Ginga I sent you a link on the pass attempts topic. You don't have to agree, just something to think about.

Personally, I think that money saved from letting Nnamdi slide would be far more worth it to the raiders than resigning him. They have plenty other areas they could shore up with that cash and I'm sure they could find another corner to fit there scheme just fine without missing Asomugha much. And for a fraction of the cost.

  • @Mauhadeeb28

    To your second point, agreed.

  • @Ginga P.S. Those stats were only up to week 7 of the 2009 season. After that injuries started changing the numbers and I like to evaluate players when healthy.

I am not saying he is bad, just over rated as far as the money he makes and will probably make with another team.

To be fair I think Revis is good but extremely over rated and over paid but he , to me, is a more complete CB and I'd rather have him on my team than Nnamdi but no way for the money either makes.
