  • the best weapon design ever!

  • btw i like the AK 74m better. you can hate on me for it. i honestly dont give a fuck what you have to say. i know this may be hard for all of you, but keep it to yourself and stop bitching

  • wow. im looking at all of these comments and what do i see? the same peoe arguing about whose guns are better... can everyone just shut the fuck up? youtube arguments dont settle problems. izhmash doesnt need you wannabes repping theie guns and either does whover made the m16 (sorry i dont know the companies name) everyone... just shut the fuck up

  • Stop lying to ourselves - M 16 shit. water, sand, lots of details --- all breaks down - constantly need to be cleaned!, Stop lying! Kalashnikov is the best! this man should erect a monument.

  • Lol, lots of Izmash propeganda.

  • LOL stupid question buy can i buy one of those in Usa?. I mind the real ones directly from izhmash and fully automatic. Btw Im not a terrorist.

  • the wood ?

  • I love how the russian weapons aren't all about the looks but about the function and reliability. They look so freakint tuff!

  • @Trinitrotoluo

yea, the looks is "very important in military" : thats why american weapons suck compared to Russian!

  • @bulavo Exactly. Aesthetics must be subordinate to function: Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

  • lrn2DMR

  • what's the song on the very beginning?

    thanq

  • nice! always progressing

  • Russians Weapons are always better then America....

    Love AK Series..

  • @AEnemaBay mostly a2 but you can still see a few a1's :(

  • @AEnemaBay hi just a tidbit of info for fellow gun nutz >< here in the philippines both the muslim rebels and our military stop fighting when it rains.ive ask a couple of soldiers about this and they said m-16 jams on heavy downpour.were tropical here fyi

  • The Russians sure are good at recycling the same fucking design OVER, and OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER.

The AK platform is very good, I will give you guys that, but come on, you're selling yourselves short. I know that the Russians are capable of much more than just recycling the same design ad nauseum for every weapon they use.

On another note, I hear that they're planning to tear Izhevsk down. Shame.

  • @VHOBSESSED78 While I agree some innovation would be nice, I personally don't see the need to reinvent the wheel here. Besides, keeping the gun familiar makes it easier to transition.

  • @VHOBSESSED78 FYI: when something works fine, you don't have to change it, just for the sake of innovation. Some designs are just good. Most pistols operate on the same principle, that John M. Browning has devised at the beginning of the XX century. Bolt-action rifles were invented at the end of the XIX century, and their design still has its place in warfare (though not without modifications). The M21 or Mk 14 Mod 0 EBR are based on the WWII M1 Garand.

  • What where the Little SMGs called at the end ?!?! Cause they looked awsome with the Large copasity Mag. And folding Stock

  • I would love to own a AN-94. i want one so bad!

  • wat about ak-108

  • a great video.

  • i was expecting from the narator to say hello my name is borat from the beautifull nation kazachstan :D

  • ricochetVendetta, thank you for providing this video for our viewing pleasure. A common complaint about the various AK assault rifle models, in relation to their American counter parts, the M16 and M4, is that the AKs are inaccurate in comparison to the American firearms. I was wondering whether the new synthetic materials mentioned here make the AK models mentioned here more accurate than the original AK47s made of stamp metal and wood? Do they come close to the accuracy of the M16 and M4?

  • @alphacause I only know what Ive heard but alot of it is the manufacturing tolerances used and so the modern materials might help improve accuracy like you say.

some of these ak models shown here are not in common service and so dont compare to ak47, I think they are far superior quality and cost most likely

  • @alphacause of course man the ak had a microwave too. During fights you can make a hot pocet

  • @alphacause AK-107 shall be very much more accurate than the m4 so as AEK 971 the anti recoil system makes them the best rifle in accuracy for full auto

  • @alphacause and if you think SVD is less accurate than M4 then you are downright stupid

  • Comment removed

  • exactly which AK is the main weapon for Russia?

  • @youshowghey ak74 I think, they have too much weapons so I doubt the newer ones are used besides export and special forces but Im not sure

  • @ricochetVendetta

you are a fool then, ak 103 for regular regiments! for special forces like VDV, Spetsnaz, Assault anti terrorist units and other they make many different new types!

  • Comment removed

  • @youshowghey AKS74 and AKM74... but nowadays every unit gets what it needs so...

  • @youshowghey ak-74M (ak 545 modern full length)

would be the 105 and the 105 would be the 106, but they skipped full length for 105 and used that for the short instead because the short is the military equipment.

but nowadays the issued weapon is the AN-94 sliding barrel assembly 2 shot rapid fire gun.

  • @youshowghey ак 74

    ан 94

    ак 103

  • @youshowghey

ak 103 for regular regiments! for special forces like VDV, Spetsnaz, Assault anti terrorist units and other they make many different new types!

  • @youshowghey difficult to sey from ak 74 till ak 103 i think but soon come AEK-971 for all millitary combat

for spec forses an-94 and so on for airborn tanks drivers police....

but for now i think it is ak 103 and latest and ak 74

  • @youshowghey AK-74M is the general issue rifle of the Russian Federation armed forces.

  • @youshowghey ak74m

  • @youshowghey 105, 74m, and are specially designed for regular troops. But since at present there en masse, pushing weapons for special forces, most likely they will either modify them under the 7.62 caliber cartridge, or somebody else ... In general, as will be called to serve will see ...

  • the old man Kalashnikov has his own brand of vodka..it ships in a replica ammo crate & the bottle is shaped like his famous rifle..

  • @volvo4377 i'd like to see that.

  • @ricochetVendetta a friend brought a couple commerative sets back from his trip to Poland...all the USA custom guys had to get a look at them! i think that u can buy Kalashnikov vodka in the USA through various importers, but i dont know if they import the collector's set. and yes, its very good vodka...slightly chilled & straight!

  • @volvo4377 How old is Mr. Kalashnikov anyway ? And I wonder what he is doing these days.

  • Why is there so many retards that are always one sided, either totally love the AK or totally love the AR and always dont accept each others strenghts or weakness and completely put the other system down. Their both outstanding systems that have proven themself, get over yourselves.

  • @AEnemaBay my opinoun and actually trigger time i put on both my m4 and my ak 101

  • @AEnemaBay

It was an overstatment for the intelligence-impaired. But, the fact of the matter is that the M4 is not the ideal weapon to use in rainy conditions. Because, I have seen it fail in the rain and after being submerged.

On the otherhand an AK will work in rain and after being submerged. The AK will work in conditions that are too wet and too dry. It's hands down what I would bet my life on.

  • I like, i live in the Urals, I like very much!!!!!

  • the m4 sucks if u want a real gun that chambers the 556 get urself an ak-101 i got an slr 106fr (ak 101 clone) and its alot better than the m4

  • id take the AK-108 over the AK-101.

  • @Yukikazehalo Unfortunately, I heard they stop making AK-107/108 anymore because very little customer buy them.

  • izhmash is said to be going bankrupt

  • The us government keeps izhmash from us-bastards.

  • russia makes better weapons the America

  • True that man :)

  • @JawiiJiwaa

True! You get 1 drop of water on the M4 and it craps out...

  • @JawiiJiwaa In Soviet Russia, weapons make you!

  • @JawiiJiwaa

    Tell that to my 30-6

  • @JawiiJiwaa look up the magpull masada, AA-12, M107, M1911, or the javelin rocket launcher and say that again dumbass

  • @hotpocketpoison fuck you turd look at the t-95 gay whit your fucking abrahams look at the dragunov rtk 74 gay that you are look at the msta-b idiot russian army owns the american crap

  • @Mikeys123451 t-95=cancelled, remington 700 > dragunov, there are probably other various american sniper rifles that outperform the dragonov that i just dont know the name of but the 700 is just one example and please give me one example of "american crap" and please give detail dont just type a baseless bullshit example

  • @hotpocketpoison Don't compare the remington 700 with the Dragunov because the first one is a bolt action sniper and the Dragunov is a semi-auto sniper. An example of "american crap" weapons: the M16 and M4 series, they all have bad reliability in most of hostile conditions especially in water ... A failure to maintain the weapons meticulously can lead to jams, with russian weapons you always feel in safety and you can complete your missions with effectiveness. PS: Ru. weapons = Cheap+Effective

  • @xPBTx than why do more special operations forces all over the world choose the M4 over any other rifle?the majority of reliability issues come from the stupid civilian of gun owners who have NO idea what the hell they are doing and put bad ammo, mags, and other internal"upgrades"into the gun causing issues.since any trained soldier knows what to do with his M4 he can rest assured knowing that with proper maintenance he can have a weapon that puts most others to shame for the duration of his tour.

  • @hotpocketpoison Because most of these special forces got indoctrinated by the US " quality " propaganda.

Most of the reliability complaining come from the soldiers themselves... Even US marines said that they preferred choosing the AKs they picked up over the M4/16 series.

  • @xPBTx but think about it, if there are dead terrorists all over the floor than there would be a plethora of AK ammunition, plus since most combat is urban in iraq than the AK would make more sense. but not in any other circumstance.

  • @hotpocketpoison I was just talking about the soldiers' impressions between the AKs and M4/16.

  • @xPBTx i will freely admit that russian weapons are more reliable and better for closer ranges, but its not like they are MUCH more reliable and MUCH better at closer ranges, but for longer ranges i would prefer an M16

  • @hotpocketpoison The Kalashnikov trademark is reputed of their weapons reliability, these weapons can endure any sort of extreme test and can still fire. Well the bullets affect the range too, the 7.62x39 mm mostly use in AKs is very powerful but is short and a bit heavy than the 5.56x45 mm which is lighter, faster and a bit more accurate at range but it lacks of power makes it way less lethal than AK rounds. However you can compare the AK-74M (5.45x39 mm " Poison bullet " ) with the M4/16.

  • @JawiiJiwaa Bull fuckin' shit! America's guns are far more Superior. Anything the Russians make Americans make better. Don't believe me look up The Bushmaster ACR. It's far more accurate, far more deadly and does not jam.

  • @brownking96 The ACR is not proven like the AK is on the battlefield. I've held one, and I thought they were really heavy for a plastic gun.

  • @esh325 Yeah but America has guns that are proven and kick the Ak's ass. Sure they're not as powerful or reliable when it comes to jamming but our are far more accurate and low recoil. I can guarantee you weapons like the SCAR and ACR will make the AK-47 obsolete. But hey I bet the AK-47 is fun to shoot.

  • @brownking96 Well, of course it's obsolete. The AK-47 hasn't been in service with the Russians since the late 1950's, and in 1974, they switched to the AK-74 which has very low recoil and is quite a bit more accurate. I don't see the ACR or the SCAR getting much of anywhere. The US is not going to replace the M4 or M16 any time soon, only upgrade them.

  • @brownking96 Which is why the AK-47 and its variants are used the world over. Cheap, reliable and very easy to use. That is why the AK-47 isn't likely to go obsolete anytime soon

  • @4Mobius Yeah the Ak-47 isn't going obsolete with rebel militia anytime soon but it's most likely going obsolete with major world powers. The reason why the Ak-47 is wildly used throughout the world is because how cheap it is. Militia groups aren't the best funded groups and they need to get their weapons on any weapon system.

  • @JawiiJiwaa Germany makes better weapons than both.

  • free floating barrels for the win.

  • Only believe like 10 percent of this video lol look at the source check your history book Id like to see some accuracy tests id put a few dollars on the table that the accuracy of all those rifles are no better than the ak-47 they just the same gun rechambered and new barrel and some furnitur ergo wise the m4 still wins sorry. Accuracy m4 wins. cheapness they win. That is why they can produce them so fast. O and the communism thing of them working for the state has nothing to do with it right?

  • That would be an ignorant assumption to assume that the accuracy will be the same for all of them, considering they are in different calibers. AK's are plenty accurate, it's the person shooting them that matters too. While the M4 might have better ergonmics because of the bolt catch and safety, the M4 lacks greatly in reliability and power compared to the AK.

  • m4 u serious? u might as well go red ryder

  • @WHITENUT45 lol

  • fuck no it doesent, these guns don't need to be babied, and they are actually more accurate than m4's now... and wtf?! history books? only in america would history books talk about how much better american guns are than anything else :P

  • The fuck, idiot? USSR dissolved in 1991.... And so what if it's the same gun rechambered and rebarrelled? And remember, the AK74 has that muzzle break which completely changed the Kalashnikov serious character.

  • @ 6:27, what the fuck kind of a door breech is that? They shoot their guns in the air (at least one did) like an arab, what gives? I'd rather favor a full clip than try to intimidate a hostile who's hearing is already probably temporarily disabled due to the breech charge.

  • @HPG45 I just wanted to say that although your concern is understandable, the shooting in the air does provide something for those breaching. When one hears a breach and then gunfire, they will get into cover, but with only a breach, they might just aim for the door. The cost of several bullets can lead to the loss of fractions of a second that the occupant could have used for aiming at an officer, and a life is certainly worth that.

  • ak-103 much more practical, 47 is very old and outdated!

  • @Vin4enco literally the same action, just sightly improved as technology has.

  • Russia makes some of the best assualt rifles in the world. Never shot the 5.45x39 but that seems like bad ass round. tumbles when it hits.

  • best assault rifle is the german g3 its by far the most accurate, powerful and reliabelst assault rifle of all. the g3 has 7.62x54 calibre the Ak 7.62x39...

Btw ak47 is just a copy of the german stg44

  • so is the M16

  • well every assault rifle is, isnt it ?

  • actually, it was an improved version made by a Russian... g3 is actually 7.62x51, and you need to use the spellcheck function.

  • well they didnt change much if you consider that the parts of the stg44 and the ak hardly differ....and yes its 7.62x51 not 7.62x54

  • hey grenadierer trust me idont have nothing against you but let me tell you is difficoult to tell all these amount of bullshit in 1 single post.

g3 is not better of an ak47 and is newer project comparated with ak47..stg44 has nothing to do with ak47 except for the fact they can shoot in auto fire..i dont think we can consider the ak a copy of stg44 just for this reason.

and the primary charateristic of the g3 is to be considerated reliable not accurate... and the recoil is bigger that ak...

  • @M1lko01

you are straight fucking retarded if you think anything you just posted is true.

ak WAS based off the stg.

cetme / g3 system does not have more recoil than an ak in 7.62x39.

and you say ak like all aks are chambered in one round. 5.56, 5.45, .308, and 12 gauge just to name a few...

    go play mw2, faggot.

  • I like a nice folding stock akm.

  • it seems like that moving barrel on the an-94 might take itself out of sight

  • woah! looks like the an94 kills m4! Хорошая работа Россия!

  • an-94 ftw

  • Oh goodness, I never knew there were all these variants of AKs,

    Wow that's awesome

  • AK 102 is my fav but I like all of those.

  • AK-108 is my fav. has a balance system and less recoil but with the same fire power as any of the 100 series. Though the AK-47 is legendary. todays war needs rifles with less recoil but with great fire power. But in the hands of a good shooter. any weapon can be something to fear. :)

  • thats my point i hate m16.

  • AK-74 is my favorite.. I still want an AK-47 for nostalgic reasons :)

Dragunovs are awesome too, love all of these weapons

  • Does anybody know where/ who sells ak-100 series rifles in the states or an-94 style rifles in the states

  • A company called Arsenal converts Izhmash Saigas into AK-100 series rifles, they are very high quality. You can't get anything close to an AN-94 as far as I know, though.

  • the byzer is like the smg in killzone 2

  • HAIL SCOLAR VISARI!

  • man you people must be living in a terriable place to want these kind of weapons, LOL, just kidding,

  • I want a Dragunov, those are wicked.

  • ak 104 + scoop !!! man .

  • ak107-108 with double counter-moving gas pistons are the best.

  • AK 103 FTW

  • Best version of the AK, indeed.

  • The AN-94's firing mechanism is too complex for what you get. the system only activates when you pull the charging handle. which you often times WONT do in combat.

i prefer the AK-107's balancing action, cheaper, with a more usefull advantage in the feild.

  • i love the Dragunov but ''best army sniper rifle''? It hasnt got the range of a 'true' sniper rifle, for a start.

It was only designed as a 'sharpshooter's' rifle; to increase the range of fire of a an infantry squad to about 800m. I'm sure Russia has rifles with better range than that, the west does...

  • an94 has a faster rate of fire.

  • an-94 is more better then AEK 971

  • an-94 is also pretty complex ...in overall AEK971 is more close to AK-47s firepower and simplicity, at the same time very accurate

  • AEK 971 THE BEST ASSAULT RIFLE IN WORLD

AEK 971 better then AN 94 and AK 107-108

  • AK's are the world best assault rifles! Come join my AK Militia!

  • Russian firearms just look cool!

  • m16s are aluminum $80 cheap garbage range toy piece of sht plastic crap.

  • AK's rule the world of assault rifles! Hail Kalashnikov!

  • @XxILoveMyAK47xX Mihail Kalahnikov

  • sweet! молодцы! АК- автоматы преводсходствуют над ВСЕМ! Kalashnikovs rule!!!!

  • coooll! that pretty informative.

  • I wonder how well Izhmash's short AK's (-102,-104,-105) do when compaired to the AK-74SU? I'm a little skeptical of the AN-94. It has an interesting operating system and I like the high cyclic rate of the 2 rd burst (reminds me of the G11's 3 rd burst). The ergonomics look terrible though. Most reports I have read support this. Anyone actually handle one?

  • you idiots saying AK 103 is better than the AK47 are fools.

Its the same rifle, the only difference is its a stamped receiver vs milled and one has a barrel nut and the other a flash/compensator.

Same round, and about the same performance.

The AK47 is worth alot more than an AK103 because they are far more rare.

  • Long live Russia

    Long live Izhmash

  • i'm not even Russian....and i second that.

  • pakiz rule

  • ak-47 is cool but ak-103 is better

  • well, duh

  • i dont like the ak 47 i like the ak 103 more accurate and looks cooler

  • Whoops, I never paid attention to the Galil's sights.

  • Why oh why don't they change the sights on the ak ?! They're such a pain!

  • agreed, however one could replace them by using a picatinny rail conversion kit for the ak and add western type sights

  • How do I order from this company i know u can but i dont know how.

  • and An 94 is what? It is not AK?

  • sorry for shit comment

  • The AN-94 was invented by Nikanov (AN- Avtomat Nikanova). It was not invented by Kalashnikov, but it is being produced in Izhmash, where Kalashnikov also produces his new AK´s.

  • its a special rifle, great for initial burst accuracy!

  • how much does it cost to buy ak-108 at 1000 unit?

  • because I like you, 250 dollah

It's what I do; I'm a Marine. I'm a Texas Cowboy and I like Saiga. However I am a Browning Winchester man. 1897 Shotguns 1903 Rifles Whatever. Is my L1A1 showing? • also sopmod how do you like the saiga .308. do you have a 16 or 20 inch barrel version. ive been wanting to pick a saiga .308 or super vepr and wanted to get a first hand review of it. its an izhmash built saiga so they've got to be a great weapon.

  • very true sopmod i also have and ak, an ak-74 bulgarian in fact and i love it 10x more than my noveske ar its lightweight, reliable, durable, accurate(surprisingly for an ak 1.5moa with cheap ammo at 150meters)and the best part its so adaptable with the russian siderail system i actually see no need for picatiny rail handguards cuz they just add weight. ive already put 12,000 rounds through it and it has had only 2 stovepipes because of some poor quality ammo its been fed. i love my ak.

  • i have an ak-74 bulgarian and i have no problem hitting targets out to 650 meters on a day with no wind. i use wolf brand ammo and use a rakurs-a sight so i dont think it that far behind an ar considering ak's are much harder to accuratize and there tolerances are purposely not as tight as an ar. the ar is a great weapon,i own one but for half the price my ak-74 in 5.45x39 is just as good.

  • i wonder if izhmash will ever introduce polygonal barrels onto there designs it would make them even more accurate and even more durable.

  • My Izhmash S308 will produce 1.25-2.0in groups at 100 yards and has a forged barrel that is supposed to provide 40,000rd service life in 7.62x39.What more do you want for $339.USD?

  • AK series are best in the World, and this know all weapon experts.

  • prikol , ya lublu eta avtomate e vintofka , 5 svede 5/5

  • Americans may invest in weapons more than Russians, but Russians sure do make better weapons. I mean their weapons are more rugged, more durable, they pack a bigger punch. Sure the M16 is more accurate than AK47 at distances of over 300 meters. But what good is it if the slightest change in temperature, or dust, or water make the M16 unusable in the field.

  • i see...so why the would Russia show its weapons off like this when sneaky American eyes are about?

  • This is not necessarily true. I carried a M16 in combat without problems. There is really no such thing as a M16 anymore. The M16 has become a modular weapons system. I can show you a AR series weapons that take everything the AK series can take and still hit a target at 700 meters. I can also set it up to shoot everything from 22lr to 50BMG. You cant do that with you Russian weapons. I like Russian weapons, I own three of them. But I also like the ARs and own one of those too.

  • I am not saying American weapons are crap, it's just that they are more expensive, require more maintenance, and also require specialized personnel to use them. I am also saying how ridiculously little Russian are investing in their weapons, comparing to Americans. And yet Russian are in some fields of warfare in front of Americans. No offense.

  • your right.

American makes guns for American soldiers.

thats why most Americans have foreign made weapons.

  • The power of USSR !

  • gotta love Russian weapon

  • well for the record the more advanced AK's are only with s
