CDC researcher Poul Thorsen, who famously headed up the "Denmark Study" that many claim disproved any link between autism and vaccines, has been indicted in Atlanta by a federal grand jury on charges of wire fraud, money laundering&defrauding research institutions of grant money.
Poul Thorson is a scientist who formerly worked for the CDC,&over the last several years,he oversaw millions of dollars in grant money that was used to conduct research to"prove"that vaccines have no link to autism
People will never understand what we go through day to day. We are on an everyday roller coaster ride, that we will never get off of. BUT God always gives these children to the parents he knows will love the unconditionally. My son is 9 he is adhd and autistic. I stay in panic mode for his safety. God Bless you hun, this was a sweet video.
i have aspergers and adhd it somtimes hard but i do my best to talk to people the best i can and try not to seem rude or mean when i talk to someone and i am learning what people are feeling around me the hardest thing is that i was just labeled with aspergers and adhd so i did not get the help i need growing up but my family did their best with me so i am happy to even be some what like others
I can see you love them a lot and they are true blessings. don't loose your faith in them remember they can do anything if you support them and let them you know you believe they can even if they have trouble. I know growing up that helped me alot but another thing I might suggest is an autism service dog if they are good with dogs. I know mine changed my world. if you want more info send me a message.. remeber never loose faith and ignore the people who stare they have no clue.
They are beautiful, and they're so lucky to have an aunt like you.
To all mothers (and fathers) of children with autism: Do not believe your doctor if they tell you there's no recovery. There's so much help out there, it's overwhelming :) Please check out my before and after videos of my 3 year old girl.
If autism was to be cured, the individual would not be him or herself anymore. Autism is what makes an autistic person an autistic person. There are effective treatments to treat the negative sides of autism, but keep an eye out for quackery.
I got help but if i haven't i wouldn't have got to
where i am today.
i still have difficulty with eye contact and speaking out, and i've been through a period where i gave up on love because of my disorder but when i heard a certain band I felt like there was love for me. This song has been my theme song since i heard it for the first time (the song in the video) .
I've also been to a Jonas Brothers concert . I didn't believe i could do that either.
@Trickie21 same here. me and my brother both have it, but it seems like we talk to each other in ways nobody else can understand. it really seems to frustrate my parents though :)
100% Adorable :) They may not act like other children... running off, not wanting or needing help... but on the bright side of a dark cloud, They'll always need you, and they'll always want you around them to help them and be with them, IF you will always be there 4 them... the bright side of the dark cloud ;)
i never expected that my son is special and nobody fr my family understand the way he acts, i was thankful that internet & youtube exist, i did some research and it helped us a lot...i know this is just the start and we have a long way to go...i hope and i know my son will continue improving...tnx
winter077...i was surprise u said that! bcoz there are people around us who really can never understand what we are going through...i just said to myself, they should be thankful they dnt experience being awaken in the middle of the night thinking what happened when i was pregnant? or...what's wrong with me and my husband? but on the otherside, i am happy my son is improving...tnx
Because of these YOUTUBe videos being posted about autism, I am no longer perplexed when I see an autistic child at the supermarket or walmart. I don't stare with a horrified look on my face because I know what it is now.
Have you considered biomedical intervention and the DAN protocol? There are children improving greatly and sometimes recovering completely from autism.
I don't think it's something you can recover from. It's not a disease that was caught. It's a lifestlye, a way of existing, a new way of seeing the world. If you took it away from a child, what would be left? They wouldn't be who they are anymore. Autism is part of the genetic makeup of someone, without it...they would be empty. You can improve your methods of coping, but not recover. I don't know of any people with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder that would want to have a 'cure'.

All Autistic people are mutants and are evil, sinful, blasphamous, and tainted. We should send them all off to an Autistic colony on an island; we should call it "Hugbox Island."

You are the Nazi because you want three million dollars to be spent on a (white aryan) autistic child so he can have a cooshie lifestyle rather than to feed thousands of starving Africans.
@WillieFleischer ur an asshole do u think they ask do be that way no they r probably smarter than u can even imagine most r known to be undistinguished geniuses functioning in a different mind set then "normal people"
What a beautiful video. I think it is great that you are showing the love and desperate need for a cure for these beautiful children. I have an autistic nephew myself. I think you actually commented on my brother's video "Logan's First Day of School" that's him :)
I do not know how to truly understand someone who does not speak (my niece and nephew) but you just read them. Just like with any person- spending enough time with them you learn their ticks by watching their emotional response.
I was lucky enough to witness the love and support that this aunt gives her niece and nephew day after day. She is a wonderful person doing wonderful things for the world ..
aw, thank you for watching and commenting. Means a lot to me to know my videos are actually doing something-- bringing more and more awareness to soon-to-be a problem for everyone.
Such a wonderful video, it made me cry. My son has severe autism and adhd. It is a struggle for me as a mommy to see him not like the others, but I know God made him special for me. You are a wonderful Aunt. God Bless your heart.
You are such a good aunt! Thank you for bringing more awareness to what it is really like to have a child with autism! Also what they go through on a daily basis.

There is NO cure for autism. My son would not be who is without having autism.
Autism is only ONE part of him. He is not defined by it.
