That would technically make her the first and only Mediterranean (I'm assuming here) princess if that should be the case~ Either way, she's probably south(western?) European (which would account to why she's darker in skin) or African.

It makes them stronger, more relatable, and in some ways more caring, because they're longing for the love of the parent they've lost so they ultimately find that in the friends they make along the way. ^_^
