how did you make the scene ( simple trainer )

@kimi450 Well, yes. I spawned a bunch of people and had them loop animations during each shot. The vehicles were also spawned and arranged using the trainer. The characters use custom textures I made and I created a new skin for the CSI Humvee. Police tape was added in the editing.

For the guy hanging off the building, I filmed him doing the animation against the sky, then cut him out using AfterFX and stuck him onto a shot of the apartment block. There's also a few simple helicopter shots.

A "ped" is a pedestrian model in GTA IV.

The model I used for Horatio is MM_Enforcer.

I created my own custom textures for each ped in the scene to try and make them look more like the cast members.

I did this by using the programs Photoshop CS5 and SparkIV.

You can spawn and manipulate peds by using the Simple Native Trainer mod for GTA IV PC.

Any other questions about GTA 4 terminology / modding, use Google.

@Dalhems ..used the simple native trainer's animation menu to start with. I think the animation is from one of the clothes shops, makes him do the motion of putting on his specs.

To make the shot was difficult tho, since the animation only uses one hand to put on the glasses. So I filmed the shot multiple times, playing both the left and right-handed glasses take-offs. I combined the two in AfterFX and pasted the glasses on top, moving them one frame at a time to match the hand movements.
