Wow!!! I remember seeing the band for the firt time at the old Granery club in Bristol, they replaced the Groundhogs at t the last minute and played to about 40 people. a few weeks later they came back in their own right and pulled 600 people on word of mouth alone (the granery only was suspose to hold 450)
Haha. Hmmm, tough one. Lily or Duncan? Yeah i guess you are right (although Dunc's probably got the bigger chest). Moobs and middleage spread ya know - I'm basing this on myself 20 odd years on. No offence Dunc if you are reading this. No offence Lily either. (Just in case. Wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of your dad!)
No middle aged spread here mate!! Check out my other vids and you'll see what I've been doing for the last 20 years... The other lads are all on Facebook, and to be honest I gotta say we're a pretty well preserved bunch LOL!
Brill! Thanks for the posting. Ahhhh, memories of the Red Lion Brentford, The Wellington Shep Bush Grn and The Roxborough Harrow (along with many others - Slough, Milton Keynes, Hamm Odeon etc plus a rare 'no show' in Hereford) come flooding back. Has it really been almost a quarter of a century?? Happy days indeed. Still, i s'pose at least we have Lily Allen now for compensation. Jeez!
Don't think i ever made that 'un - hope you enjoyed 'em as much as i did at their other gigs tho'. Going out on a limb here, has anyone checked out the Von Bondies, Gogol Bordello or Cake? All worth catching in my 'umble opinion.
Used to follow them about in '85 / '86. Saw them at a pub at Shepherds bush and got so drunk I fell asleep leaning against the stage speakers!!!!

Nostalgias great aint it.
Any band that played the legendary Marget tavern in Hereford TWICE must have been working hard. How the hell did it all go wrong for them.
Ahhh sticky carpet, snakbite and visions of Mavis cartwheeling around the room kncking everyones drinks over.

Red Lion Brentford - Our Home Ground almost. Always a laugh but the various security/bouncers there often were a pain in the @ss...
