  • Used to follow them about in '85 / '86. Saw them at a pub at Shepherds bush and got so drunk I fell asleep leaning against the stage speakers!!!!

  • Did you ever see "mournblade"painted in massive white letters on the viaduct bridge opp Ealing hospital?

  • @killingnuman

    Yep.... (looks around nervously)

  • Did you or did you not once play The Lady Margaret in Southall, settle an argument for me,I said you did?

  • hey does anyone have these albums from Mournblade:Anthem of Chaos; The Titanium Tapes and Stairway???I'm missing these three albums.thanks

  • @robert1mk There is a Mournblade anthology out on angel air record now I beleive with all the early stuff and rare demos.

  • @Aiki33 do you have it on MP3?i live in one small country, called Macedonia... There are no possible chances that i can get it here..:)

  • @robert1mk if you can get onto amazon it's on there

  • @Aiki33 thanks

  • this band were amazing live, shame they never got the credit and recognition they deserved

  • just.... amazing..

  • ta LOL!

  • Nostalgias great aint it.

Any band that played the legendary Marget tavern in Hereford TWICE must have been working hard. How the hell did it all go wrong for them.

Ahhh sticky carpet, snakbite and visions of Mavis cartwheeling around the room kncking everyones drinks over.

  • yep - great fun at the time.... and there WILL be a reunion gig next August.....

  • @Aiki33

Wow!!! I remember seeing the band for the firt time at the old Granery club in Bristol, they replaced the Groundhogs at t the last minute and played to about 40 people. a few weeks later they came back in their own right and pulled 600 people on word of mouth alone (the granery only was suspose to hold 450)

  • Frankly - I'd be quite happy with Lily Allen for the weekend! LOL

  • Haha. Hmmm, tough one. Lily or Duncan? Yeah i guess you are right (although Dunc's probably got the bigger chest). Moobs and middleage spread ya know - I'm basing this on myself 20 odd years on. No offence Dunc if you are reading this. No offence Lily either. (Just in case. Wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of your dad!)

  • No middle aged spread here mate!! Check out my other vids and you'll see what I've been doing for the last 20 years... The other lads are all on Facebook, and to be honest I gotta say we're a pretty well preserved bunch LOL!

  • Brill! Thanks for the posting. Ahhhh, memories of the Red Lion Brentford, The Wellington Shep Bush Grn and The Roxborough Harrow (along with many others - Slough, Milton Keynes, Hamm Odeon etc plus a rare 'no show' in Hereford) come flooding back. Has it really been almost a quarter of a century?? Happy days indeed. Still, i s'pose at least we have Lily Allen now for compensation. Jeez!

  • And the Penny Farthing in Oxford

  • Don't think i ever made that 'un - hope you enjoyed 'em as much as i did at their other gigs tho'. Going out on a limb here, has anyone checked out the Von Bondies, Gogol Bordello or Cake? All worth catching in my 'umble opinion.

  • Don't know them but scanning Youtube as we speak..

  • A horrid place to play - acoustics like a dustbin..

  • Red Lion Brentford - Our Home Ground almost. Always a laugh but the various security/bouncers there often were a pain in the @ss...

  • Rock'n'roll!

  • Yeeehaar!
