namttam1992, does that have ANYTHING to do with the Cloverfield monster? It was a satellite, but even if it was a comet, what would it have to do with the monster? Comets always fall down, it doesn't have to do anything with the monster.
The artist of the song is Funeral For A Friend, and I highly doubt they will care of your opinion, or if you could barley even contact them. And yes, the monster came from the sea, the thing at the end of the movie is a Slusho satellite, it really happened, it's just that they redid it in the movie, and that is woke the monster up, so it came up to Manhattan in search for it's mother since it is a baby, and it started to attack because it was getting shot at and it didn't know why.
if you see the movie the clues lead to the fact that it came from the ocean... makes you wonder.. what if something like this really lives at the deepest part of the ocean that we havent found yet..
NOPE it didnt come from the ocean, if you look in the VERY END where the guy and the girl are in the park, you see a comet lookin thing fall into the ocean in the background.

It did come from the ocean. The chunk you see fall is a piece fallen from a satellite.
