I tried doing this multiple times, the service is already automatic and when I click "Start" it goes on, then the message is displayed again and it shuts off again.

@Stryker1501 yeah i had a program that stopped it from syncing up, I had bittorrent on here and as soon as i took it off, it worked fine again.

if that didnt work try this

1)disable Apple Mobile Device in Services

2)go to Add or Remove Programs and Delete "Apple Application Support" , "Apple Mobile Device Support" and iTunes

3)clear registry with "ccleaner" (cleans deep) to remove settings

4)restart pc

5)install new iTunes again

6)plug ur iDevice, it will install the "Mobile Device Service"

its done, nothing else worked till i figured out this.
