Metal Slug 8 is probably going to take place right after MS5 and is possible that Scyther will return as well because it is one of the biggest mystery about why that Demon with Space background of body came in to challenge Regular Army even though it is not their end being sent to hell ? Until now, we still don't know what the hell is going on and is currently unknown ever since the final boss defeat on this game.

Metal Slug 4 and 5 were the worst of the series.

Metal Slug 3 and X were without a doubt the best.

Metal Slug 1 and 2 were great games.

As was Metal Slug 6.

Never played Metal Slug 7.

Yeah, personally I loved X, 3 and 6. 1 was alright, but of course, it's the first so you can't say it was bad.

4 and 5 just didn't deliver the fuzzy feeling the others did.
