As will every other American with a head on their shoulders. The challenge will then become finding a candidate that actually believes in what he or she is saying, something we've not had for quite a while.
Given our current predicament, a better movie to draw influence from might be "Billy Jack Goes to Washington". Because when the chips are down, we may need someone who can kick a little ass, especially if we still have a congress loaded with corrupt bribe takers.
I'll reserve my respect for those who are respectable. When I see troops removed from foreign misadventures, budgets balanced, cronyism cease, and the rule of law obeyed by those in elected office, I will go back to respecting my elders.
However, since none of these will happen, my only recourse is outright mockery. It's not that I want to mock our beloved messiah, it's that I need to, for the sake of my own self-preservation as a free man.

I don't disagree you, but I don't think mockery is enough to turn things around in this country. Eisenhower was exactly right when he said '...beware the military/ industrial (corporations) complex'.
I've been active in several elections, mostly local stuff since I learned the hard way in 2008 that fighting Washington D.C. is a lost cause. I'm pretty confident that the only way to push reform now is via state sovereignty. If all goes well there may be a peaceful realignment of the country. We are approaching a powder keg situation right now, and Obama's really lame partisan speech last night is really not helping matters, at all.
I liked the part of the speech when Obama said it was because of the people without insurance that healthcare is expensive. Or the part about... "Health insurance will be like car insurance.... you MUST have it." Or what.. U goto jail ? From now on is it going to be... "Give me you drivers license, registration, proof of medical/car insurance." Too bad everyone isn't fluent in Orwellian. Thankfully we have HU to help translate.
My pleasure O Wise MrWizenBud. Given Obama's love for the stage, I may have to make mockeries of him more often. Don't worry, there will be plenty of time left over for Guitar Videos and xtranormal animations. ;-)
More mockery... I like it. Suggestion.... have a spotlight shine on you every time you say that you are the "Hope & Change". With a little angelic harp playing in the background to go along with the applause.
That's not a bad idea, the only tough part will be figuring out the logistics of getting the spotlight on myself, but the harp sound will be easy. Unfortunately my editing skills are fairly limited, but I'm working on them.
Yep, I essentially made the audience mimic what I saw during Obama's stump speeches back in 2008, only I scaled back the volume so that you could actually hear the nonsense coming out of my mouth.
$256.8 billion in fiscal year 2002 is what was spent on medicare. $440 billion for fiscal year 2007. Now Obama says he's going to add 47-48 million people and cut the cost to 90 billion per year or 900 billion for 10 ten years. How??? what a joke huh? 5 stars
Indeed, it's like the plot to a Monty Python movie on steroids. There is no way to create a caricature of what is going on right now, you can only repeat what you hear and try to keep a straight face while doing so.
I think in the interest of protecting America's market system, everyone should flip the bird as you have, regardless of how many PETA people it pisses off. *joke*
Thanks for the comment. Some douche marked your post as spam, but I just remedied that.
You've got to love the red meat of mindless politics. I really wish that more people could speak as candidly as they are right now, because honesty and contention means that the truth is getting out.

We need a soft spoken small town American who no one has ever heard of. You know, the type that could never get elected in this country.
Do you remember the movie " Mr Smith Goes to Washington"?
That's the kind of man we need now.
