  • i can do all the basic tricks :]

  • My yoyo dosent spin when it reaches the end of the string. help!!!

  • I asked Tommy Smothers for some helpful tips for you. He says make sure you really flick it hard, and the hand position with the palm up is very important even if it doesn't seem like it.

  • OK thanks i will try that

  • @11GoneCrazy11 There is a trick to get a yoyo to sleep, which is strange they don't mention it in the video. Whip the yoyo down like you're doing a regular throw, and at the very last second before the yoyo snaps, give it a tiny bit of slack. If the yoyo hits the end of the string HARD it will return (and likely hurt your palm). The yoyo must be given a tiny bit of slack so goes into the sleep BEFORE it even hits the end of the string. You can throw it as hard as you like so long as you do

  • do this simple thing, and you can get 40+ second sleeps. At first it seems a little difficult to do (don't give it so much slack it whacks the floor) but I assure you with practice it will become second nature. The best thing is, you will be able to sleep almost ANY yoyo, even the cheap ones. Yes some yoyos are made better than others but you can even sleep a fixed-axle yoyo like the Duncan Wheels, believe me, I use that model all the time, you don't need a $50+ yoyo to be a good yoyo'er!!

  • I had this on VHS years ago. I love it.
