Adore this film, easily in my top 5 of all time - also for fans of Un Prophete, I would recommend a movie called Animal Kingdom - check it out on IMDB and buy/download it. It's an Australian indie movie about a young man whose mother dies of heroin overdose, so he's forced to go live with his uncles and grandmother who are part of a huge crime syndicate, and it's not really the right environment for him...

@NicKingPapiChulo every version I've seen has been subtitled. I would be completely appalled if any version tried to dub this film. The performances are amazing and deserve to be heard in the language they were filmed in.

As a huge advocate of quality crime and gangster movies, I am absolutely in love with this movie. great story, great acting, brilliantly filmed and put together. It's beginning to become known as the "French Godfather", and although not to be taken too literally, the parallels are noticeable immediately.
