I was curious: Which drivers are you using with this card? I've tried this game with Forceware 92.91 drivers with no luck (game won't even boot). I have the same exact card (BFG 7800 GS AGP), Pentium 4 3.06 GHz Processor with Hyper Threading, 2 GB's DDR PC-3200 RAM, 400W Power Supply, and a 7200RPM Western Digital Caviar SE ATA-100/EIDE Hard Drive.
Is your Computer Bottlenecked? Because i run on basically the SAME System, but with 2GB of DDR 333, and a 450W PSU, and a 250GB HD, with a nice case. So, i have same Mobo, CPU, and G-card. I only get about 30FPS, which is really odd.
hey guys i got a dell demtion 2400 series 2.40ghz prosecor 760mb of ram and diamond 256mb card i was told i cant get a better video card because i need duel ports and also that i need ddr2 or somthing i have plain ddr would i be able to run this card u think
@heythisrocks Your graphics card will have it's own RAM. Whether that be DDR DDR2 DDR3, or whatever. The purpose of the card is to run sorta independently from the rest of the system so it doesn't over-tax your CPU to run graphics as well. As far as I know...as long as you have a suitable mount with enough ooomph from your power supply to run it.....you should be okay. I've read a faster data response from hard drive makes a big difference too. System RAM = elbow room. The more the better.
ya it surprisingly runs msot games just fine. I bought one bcause I got an old comp free with only pci and agp slots. Very good card for how much you can do. Btw I got Crysis running on it with decent fps.

@2tynee4u Yeah, that comes in hand when loading times for RAM. How exactly does a faster HD make gameplay better?
