I can appreciate that they may not be nurturing people to sing as opera stars, so the praise won't be for that, but I didn't feel that she performed this too well. I heard hardly any operatics in her voice and the best singing was when those two others joined in. She CAN sing, but I didn't enjoy this as an opera/classical performance.

@icgraves She's an opera singer, and whether you sing in an opera show or just the songs to an audience you can still coach the singing and judge the performance. Also, I think she's perfectly qualified to judge as she's sung this song herself. She does it on this show in a yellow dress.

Vanessa's super right! However, this show is obviously not about finding the next opera singer, but it is supposed to be entertaining. And hey, if it brings some people closer to opera, it cannot be wrong :) And I think that Jocelyn is indeed very musical and sings this aria quite well (considering that she doesn't have an opera background)!

Just a BEAUTIFUL woman... Met her and Wendell at the airport after whatever the hell that year in the 80s was... GORGEOUS people! Sooooo skeptical w/o Helen Terry, and then KA-BAM! Not only an OUTSTANDING voice, but a very lovely woman!

Also, Vanessa really did hit the spot there. Kind of surprising to hear it coming from someone who isn't an opera singer.
