I gotta admit I was a little taken aback by this advertisement at first, but I also saw that this (apparently unintentional) date snafu also made the commercial just a little more sinister (laughing at Thursdays turning into laughing at Thursdays no matter what date it falls on.) This makes it perfect for the style of the show as a whole.

Just to clear this up I directed this and I wanted to have him laught at 4th and 11th of october. But this is 2008 years calander and these days wouldn't be thursdays so I shot it using september. I was amazed when people picked up on the fat that it was september and in the trail as it went out on tv we heavily blurred it out. Sorry for any offence caused we really didn't mean it.

GingerEvilC - don't be stupid. The 4th and the 11th are THURSDAYS which is what this trailer is about. That's the whole point. Don't be so precious about a date - think about it, something bad has happened on most dates to someone, somewhere. Guess what? It's the 18th next Thursday and the 25th the week after. They're just DATES. Strangely though, he seems to be looking at a 2008 calendar. 9-11 happened on a Tuesday btw.
