This is the best tutorial video I've seen! I have a LOT of hair and it kinda weighs itself down a lot, so I'm looking forward to trying this. Big thanks from all us girls in the UK!! :-)
wow this is sooo good. i love it! i tried and tried doing the blow out but it never came out good but im deffinately going to try this. THANKS SO MUCH!
so I've never been able to do blow dry my hair straight, but I actually tried it and it didn't turn out so bad! I've done it like three times now and it's taking me less time each time. I don't get as much volume as you do, probably because my hair is longer and my layers are longer, but I love it! Thanks so much
I can't wait to try this hairstyle. I just need to get some products and the big round hairbrush. Except the only thing is that my hair is longer, like almost waist length, so I know it'll be harder for me.
Btw, this tutorial is really great - I've been getting my hair done at Toni & Guy for years and always wanted to blow dry my hair like they do it - have always asked the stylists, but one of them even said I'd never be able to do it! But I did it last nght - needs a little work, and took me an hour (!) but all I need is some practice. Thanks for breaking it down so well!
Hey, just want to say this tutorial is really great btw - I have really thick heavy hair and have been getting my hair done at Toni & Guy's for years and have always wanted to be able to dry my hair like they do it...have always asked the stylists but one of them even said I'd never be able to do it myself. But I just did it - took an hour, needs a little work, but you broke it down for me!
One thing I do differently (copying Toni & Guy), to get a really bouncy, wavy look is when you've done the cool shot, rotate the brush behind the hair so its facing upwards, then twist the hair off the brush by rotating the brush round the strands round the hair. When the brush twists off, the hair is all twisted up (you can continue to twist with your fingers) and this creates a gorgeous ringlet effect.

how long does this take you? it's gorgeous, and probably with a little dry shampoo you could wear it the next day
blueyedaxo 1 year ago
@blueyedaxo it takes about 20 to 30 minutes, but you don't have to style your hair at all afterwards with curlers or straighteners!
