How do you add a voice over that YOU have recorded?

That's what I'm trying to do.

Great, but I don't really understand much regarding the voice-over options! If this is regarding cutscenes, how do you pick whether your voice-over is male, female, elf, blah blah, and their facial animations etc? Hope you do another tutorial explaining this! ;) Your tutorials have been a great help so far :) Shame there currently isn't more for me to watch!!
