did you ever try the wax zymol?

Yeah I used it a long time ago, it worked pretty good but was a little too hard to get off in my opinion

well I didn't show it in the video, but the whole hood and roof have like no clear coat on them anymore lol! It's going to have to be painted, that's the only thing you can do when the clear starts to come off is paint it unfortunately :( but all the other good parts, like on this truck, keep them waxed and taken care of and it'll be all good. Parts of a car can be painted and blended with the good parts to where you wouldn't even be able to tell!

what if u have clearcoat comeing off? this is happening on my buick, it got wrse this winter XD lol

you can try a clear coat rejuvinator but first try to clean off the excess peeling clear. Just google presto wax... I haven't used it but it sounds like it should work, as it is basically a clear coat in a bottle.

waxing it? no i mena the clear coat is litteraly chipping off. the paint under it is exposed now ina few spots.

like jsut hte clear coat layer....large chunks chipping off lol

Oh no its not a wax, thats just what they call it for some reason; its a clearcoat rejuvinator, not a wax :)

so does it add a layer of clearcoat to the missing area and merge with the oriignal clearcoat thats around the area? :s

yeah i'm pretty sure, its supposedly a clear coat in a bottle with special polymeres and stuff... good luck in ur restoration
