MW3 has major balance issues. PP90, Striker (even though its the only shotgun that works), MP7 (that shit has no recoil), FMG9 (still after the patch, it's OP) and Type is still a death machine.

And shit all those guns up there, except from the striker maybe, is overused. Which makes them even more a pain in the butt. Cant just Infinity Ward add recoil to the guns? Shit, it takes no skill and it's like Star wars! Laser beams 'n shit.

Great gun but not overpowered.

The fire rate is balanced out by the weak damage and it's potent close quarter combat is balanced out by the fact it can't hit anything long range.

Maps like Dome it's an absolute beast but maps like Baarka that are more open with more line of sights it's not quite as scary.

People dont notice how much the fire rate affects the gun.

The PP has a great fire rate. It's very fast.

Take the strongest and steadiest smg in the game; the UMP. Compare.

If I shot both of those guns for 3 seconds each, let's tally it up.

UMP: 3 seconds = let's say 15 rounds.

PP: 3 seconds = let's say maybe 20 - 25 rounds.

A slower gun which shoots less but stronger. Or a faster gun which shoots way more but a little bit weaker.

I can "overpower" my guns just by adding rapid fire no way!

I love dome, why? It has a bright sky!! I really miss MW2 and even BO because they have too many dark maps. I like a few dark maps, but theres too many of them. mw3 is really fun almost like cod4...the only issue i have with it is some serious lag weather its cuz of first week release or theater mode, game is as smooth as mw2 but its lag just as bad as black ops, ill be behind a wall and still get those curving bullets and die...ill be face to face with sumone clearly shoot 2-3 shots in their head while they havnt shot once and die, and theres also where ur running at someone it skips a second and ur suddenly dead.

Its not op just like none of the guns are op. The SMGs rape face close range, the assault rifles rape face long range. The PP90 is really damn good close range but not so much at medium range. The other SMGs are not as good at close range but better at medium range. Its a tradeoff, nothing in this game is OP right now.
