  • moc s for me gotta be original ,recards and the the making of all repro reprodution star wars should be banned , the way 2 tell if u have brought a recard is the print on the back of the card, the bubble, the figure.fake weapons ? the water test ,,drop weapon in glass of water ,if it floats on top its the real deal ,,if it sinks 2 bottom its reproduction ,,repro as they say ,and dont add nothing 2 your collection just an over priced figure , may the force be with u all

  • awsome

  • Nice figure collection man!

  • I personally despise recards and wish people would stop making them. BTW, Stormtroopers, Hammerhead, AT-AT driver and Greedo weapons were never taped to the bubble. If you are going to do it, at least do it right.

  • @chubbarino What is wrong with recarding them if they are for your own personal collection and you aren't trying to sell them as real? As for the taping of the weapons, I think it is obvious why he did that.

  • @chubbarino I agree that not everyone makes them for their own personal collection. Far too many crooks out there. This person was completely up front about the fact that they were recarded so I have no problem. As for the weapons, I am guessing it is so the weapon doesn't fall out the figures hand.

  • reproduction cards? vinyl caped jawa on card?

  • Great video man!

  • Awesome collection! Ive been a star wars fan forever and have a decent collection myself but not packaged..which makes yours extremly valuable.. How much do you estimate its worth?

  • no Boba Fett? Even I have an unopened original one

  • wow! a real blast from the past thanks man

  • Do you recommend the AFA grading? I'm hearing there are pluses and minus's to that. Nice collection! **********!!!

  • I'm 15 years old and I only collect vintage Star Wars characters! ;D

  • thats creepy how they recard them makes me worry to buy some lol , I picked up a few in the past how can you tell the differnce?

  • I was lucky enough to have had all the originals but sold them to a collector back in '99. Although I do not mind re-cards, I do not like the though of an unsuspecting buyer getting stung. I was ten-years-old when I opened my first 12-back figure and have been collecting ever since so I can spot real from sham. I own several 12-back re-cards now, only for display and only to show people kind of how it was. It will never be really the way it was anyway because my originals were Toltoy carded.

  • i have the land of the jawas and a vintage jawa i have orderd C-3PO and R2-D2 off ebay

  • ever notice that the luke sky walker action figures never look like him.

  • Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice recards retard...look nothing like the real thing

  • recards make me feel dirty..just somthing not right about it lol..but f it they look cool

  • They are awesome! I still have all mine, wish they were still packaged! Started collecting the saga VOTC though, they look great on the original cards

  • sado

  • how much for the whole collection ill buy it for 50,000 or more

  • recarded..

  • how do you tell if its a recarded figure?

  • Repo Star Wars is like putting rat poison in cocaine.

  • i use to light mine on fire and shoot them with my bb gun-- good times !

sometimes burn the odd hot whells car also

  • how much money today is worth your collection?

  • between 8-20 dollars each on ebay for the bootleg type depending on figure condition

  • Nice collection, just as long as you keep them to yourself, and if you sell, please sell them as repros. This type of shit hurts serious collectors like me, in the wrong hands.....

  • nice stuff theremuka

  • If you had original card the Jawa at 1:22 would be worth $3000

  • So you are obviously using new photoshop cardbacks? What kind of bubbles. It may be hard but if you were really into recarding you should original bubbles..but I guess that distinguishes real from not. Also some of the ones have cardboard inserts on the bottom (matching colors) if you really want to make them shine! Impressive display though!

  • wats ur best one and how much does it cost

  • Comment removed

  • check out my vintage star wars army figures collection

  • Nice Collection!

  • real nice! i'm so jelous it hurts! what hurts the most is, knowing that i actually had them all in the 80's, original factory sealed! and i went and tore them all open and played with them like a sucker! and threw away all the packaging too! doh!

  • even though im 15 and i haven't bought a figure in a while, i would still like to keep collecting figures

  • About how many figures do you think you have?

  • Awesome collection! How long have you been collecting for?

  • I've loved Star Wars since I was a kid, and I used to have lots of the toys, but I've only been collecting as an adult for about two years.

    -Darth Beer

  • @DarthMauldaLego At least you are a honest collector eforsy01 " cant handle the truth" he got mad at me just because his 12 backs are reproduction's that you can buy on ebay for $40.00 each. He still has a good collection I guess it makes him feel good that he can fool the average collector! any how thanks for your honestly!

  • Poor old Blue snaggletooth will be all on his own without a card :(

  • LOL, you're right!

  • you're so lucky

  • Never gonna debox them are you?

  • they're vintage, thats ALOT of money!

  • a real deal vinyl caped jawa will usually have very faint light blue spots on the figure itself. hope this helps my fellow collectors.

  • were do u live im comin 2 get them lol

  • damn, even recarded, these look great! I sold all mine off, but wouldn't mind getting a few of the 12-backs (or equivalent).

  • ;( i ordered a lando calrissan from ebay and it turns out it was a RECARD i was irate man ;(((

  • That sucks. I hope the guy gave you your money back.

I think recards are cool, but they should NEVER be passed off as the real thing.

    -Darth Beer

  • So, where do you get more figures at? Do you cruise eBay? I wish I had a camera to show off my collection. Haha. Good stuff!

  • Yeah, I get all of my figures from ebay.

    -Darth Beer

  • Just wondering. What makes the Kenner figures so expensive? Is it the historic value?

Comparing with the modern Star Wars action figures, the Kenner figures are inferior in terms of design, paint, scuplts and articulations.

  • The vintage Star Wars figures are more expensive for several reasons I think.

#1 - They are old and many were destroyed by the kids that played with them back in the 1980's.

#2 - Nostalgia. Many people who played with the toys as a child, now want to collect and display them.

You are right about the Hasbro toys being a MUCH better likeness to the real thing, but I can tell you for a fact that they don't stand up to play-wear half as well as the old Kenner figures did.

    -Darth Beer

  • @Beertrooper my last message was for you Beertrooper thanks for being honest not like eforsy01 NOT LIKE EFORSY01!

  • Your collection is awesome! Your jawa is very rare because it has the plastic cape instead of the cloth cape.

  • I use to find that when I was a kid that removing them from there packs and playing with them was more fun than sticking them to the wall.

  • VERY VERY VERY NICE COLLECTION! No one should give this less then 5 stars.

  • Thanks man, and be sure to check out VINTAGE STAR WARS WEEKLY here on youtube!

    -Darth Beer

  • Great review. That's really cool. I have about a third of the orginal 77. All of the figures that I have that are supposed to have vinyl capes do except for lando. tusken Raider, darth vader, leia from a.n.h., leia from e.s.b. and a couple of others.

  • amazing, beertrooper.i would kill to own your collection.also big up on the vsww episodes.i look forward to them every time.peace.

  • Glad you like my collection. It's still a LONG way from being complete, but I'll get there one day.

Glad you like the show also.

    -Darth Beer

  • I'm amazed, you have a vinyl cape Jawa, BRAVO!!

    5STARS..

    GHOST Seekers

ps- I use to make the vintage SW Vlogs called Space Talks, check it out..

  • Good eye! This video has been watched well over 1,000 times and you're the first person to comment on the VC Jawa!

It's actually a repro, but it still looks pretty good on display, and cost ALOT less than the real thing.

I checked out a few episodes of "Space Talks", and really enjoyed it!

I've got one suggestion... You should add annotations at the end of each episode of "Space Talks" linking it to the next episode, so it's easier to watch them in order.

    -Darth Beer

  • Thanks Darth Beer, I'm going to do that! That is one awesome figure, I could never afford the real deal on my budget (I just bought my home, so money is tight)..I'm going to be watching you reviews, you have the best out of all the vlogs I've seen so far (and believe me, I've seen ALOT, LOL) Great information, funny and awesome collection!!

    Forrest-Uriah

  • coool!!

  • Thanks! Be sure to check out my other vids so you can catch the weekly collecting show.

  • Can I have them all?

  • i really wish i had vintage figures

  • Well, subscribe to my account and be sure to watch my weekly show. Princess Midori is going to be giving away a different vintage figure on the show once a month. Maybe you could win one!

  • thats awsome

  • I'm about to start doing a weekly show about vintage Star Wars toys. It's called "Vintage Star Wars Weekly". We are going to feature a different figure or playset every week. We are also going to show pictures of viewers collections and read viewer emails on the show. We are going to be giving away vintage figures every month too. Be sure to check out my other videos for a sneak peek of the weekly show. You should also subscribe to my account so you don't miss a single episode!

  • so you never played with these sweet toys? what a waste.

  • These figures were resealed, so yes they were played with at one time, but now they are just on display.

  • Does recarding add any value to the figures for resale?

  • Not very much. A recarded figure on ebay usually only sells for $10 to $15 more than a loose figure.

  • No they are not. They are original vintage figures that I resealed or "recarded" on reproduction cardbacks. If you look at my other videos, I have a 3-part tutorial showing exactly how I recarded these figures.

  • none of those are factory sealed
