  • nice video man

  • thank you

  • how d i veiw it in " graph mode "

  • thanks for the video. next time just jump straight to the correct one. I've not done this expression before, so it would have saved time to just tell it as it is. :)

  • What is page down on a mac?

  • @TheWitzigSpritzig 1 frame is command and an arrow key

  • great ... man thanks a lot

  • that was confusing

  • @thatguyinshorts lol are you serious?

    Filip

  • 3 spaces under Time Remapping is an option called freeze frame...

  • I miss sammy the sausage and charlie the chapakabra(?).:(

  • pft, Zack Morris could do this just by saying "Time out!"

Another great tutorial. I've learned a lot through you videos. Keep em coming :)

  • Thank you so much, this was better than Andrew Kramer's tutorial

  • This is helpful Thank you

p.s Your voice reminds me of RANDY from My name Is Earl lol

  • Imagine the possibilities. You could add freeze frames with buffering animations to all your videos. People would waste so many seconds...

No one should have this kind of power.

  • i am madly in love with you right now

    thank you.

  • very helpfull thanks

  • Thanks!

  • 6 people can't freeze frames

  • "and we get a suksexful keyframe" loooooooooool

  • You should be teaching, if not an actaul class then on these other tutorial websites. Succinct, comprehensive and clear

  • that helps me a lot!!thx man!

  • I need help with something. I'm new to AE and everytime I render a file, its massive. Like, a 20 second render is almsot 4 gigs :/ Anyone know what I need to do to fix this??

  • @JayDetoX change the video format when rendering. i think you have it on lossless avi (.avi) the one that takes the less space is mpeg aac (.mp4)

  • You could also take a picture in sony vegas and then set it to how long you want... About 5 seconds...

  • @ 06:41 Graphedical = Graphical + editor. LMAO.

  • Sammy the sausage!

  • Not so fast hoss

  • Why don't u make your sister eat sammy? :D

Ow, and i still like your vids :D

  • Sammy the sausage 4tw :D

  • Very clear; thanks for your vid's

  • she looks a lot like you. :))

  • Very informative. Thanks! For a sequence with multiple freeze frames, how do you extend the first freeze frame without compromising the speed of the subsequent play? thanks!

  • i actually went off after tutorial 20 and started editing clips.. discovering the flaws of time remapping the hard way.. but i figured it out in the end.. thanks for showing me there's no better way of doing it.. x(

  • tnx buddy.. radhey radhey

  • can you do a sin city tutorial plzzzzzzzzz

  • Want a 3d intro?

Read my description; Subscribe; Then send me a message!

  • i think every person who does a tutorial secretly wants to be a school teacher.

  • thanks a bunch! =D

  • thanks a lot buddy

  • thanx mayne, this helped me out alot...

  • In your fututre tutorials can you show the finished project at the beginning?

I m gonna subsribe u now dude... u r really great in explaining the things.... can u create and upload a tutorial to create a moving fire.... (something like a airplane fire which comes down along with the airplane from sky to the ground)....! I hope u will create and upload it soon. • ThankS MASTER!

  • most amazing 5/5!

But one quick question, how do I add colour on the freeze frame?

I would like to highlight someone within the freeze frame ~

    -Joel

  • @TheJoelGame you can just add a keyframe when u want it to color then add the effect if u want to remove the color then add another keyframe there and remove the effect. :)

  • i miss sausage :-(

  • Hey, I just want to say thanks for the tutorial. I've been practicing video editing lately and this was very helpful! Thanks a bunch!

  • not the only way you can create them... a fast way sure but it can also be done with an image of a frame and a splitted layer ofcourse...

  • cool tutorial,, thanks man,

  • lol it says made june 15 with a lighted up christmas tree lol late peeps awesome vid though

  • Comment removed

  • page down is on keyboard...

  • what is page down on a mac?

  • that is gr8 man

  • thanx for dat

  • lol heavy tf2

awesome man nspamed and put a thums up!!!!

  • page down is 3 on keypad

  • Not so fast hoss lol

  • graph edical- graph edical, what the heck?

    lol :D

  • why does sometimes my fps is changing : it says 30.0 (realtime) but wil then change to like 22.0 and say (not in real time) but i never did anything to change this..

  • same

  • What graphics card do u got?

  • and good question..idk i have a cruddy windows vista (hp) whatever comes with it i guess

  • it's just saying that the view you are seeing in AE isn't what it really is, that is because your pc or mac can't run your clip on the setdefault (30fps for you) fps in AE. if you save it and watch your clip in any mediaplayer you'd still see it on 30fps not on 22.

  • ok thanks

  • try to render your project whenever you can by pressing enter. then you can see the actual speed of your composition. this could be very time-consuming at times depending on the length of your video so my advice is work on your videos in segments then join them together afterwards

    hope it helps!

  • I don't see why you'd do this in after effects... Wouldn't it be faster to just use editing software like premiere? Then you could freeze the video by splitting it... I dunno, maybe I'm wrong.

  • It is a button on your keyboard.

  • It's a button on the keyboard ^-^ U usually find it near the "delete" button ... sometimes named "pg dwn"

    Have fun! :D

  • It's under Page Up

  • Opposite to page up

  • Graph edicol :D

  • you should do one on freezing time, like everything around you freezes but you move around, you know what im saying?

  • Video copilot...

  • is like a million times better , well maybe not a million but ... yeh

  • wow im finding heaps of tf2 people in these comments! thums up!

  • Can you split clips in AAE?

  • Yeah, i'm pretty sure u can. I don't know how tho :P

  • i know that its CTRL K in Premiere i havent tried it in after effects though

  • wow i see the resemblence in the two of u :-D

  • koo

  • second!

  • 10th View!!!! Woop =D

  • yaa first view
