  • I think the Meat is terrific.. Rock on!

  • HOLY CRAP!!! I was just thinking "wow this sure sounds like a Queen song". Sure enough I scroll down and see yall had the same idea. I guess great minds think alike. Awhile ago I depated with my friend what style of music Queen was, I would classify it as rock opera for sure.

You guys bring up brian may... did he do this song or something? The fandango you're right those 3 making an album would be on a whole nother level than any other music realesed.

  • @Z3kedog this IS brian may on guitar

  • this song is amazing you have the sense to be hearing the meatloaf from the 70s wow i was blowed away

  • Bat Out Of Hell. The epic trilogy.

  • I am fairly certain, Meatloaf is god on earth. His voice is the greatest ever heard. One day he will be shooting with the stars and flying with the angels. My car, meatloaf all the time!!!

  • Jim has a dark passion bu Meat has a big voice and he managing to carry this song in a much better way

  • From 3:44 on.... it is divine!

  • i also think jim steinman's version on bad for good is much much better.

  • @bhaktitube Huge queen Fan bigger then Steinman, hate all of meatloafs covers of Bad for good album

  • WOW! Just ... WOW! Meatloaf and Brian May in one room? That's too much awesome for one space.

  • @Arthur5041975 you could say that about all members of queen being in the same room for the long time they were together

  • I'm a huge Meatloaf fan but this is Jim Steinman's song to sing. I continue to enjoy every sing that Jim sings on "Bad For Good." What an amazing lyricist Jim is....

  • your arguing over this song but jim wrote it for meat and was left with no choice to record it himself when he lost his voice for 2 years, i have the bad for good album by jim and i loved it and still do but loved to finally hear meat doing it like he was meant to.

i went to see the 3 bats concert and people around me couldnt understand why i knew this word for word

maybe because i'm a real fan and not just a bat 1, 2 or 3 fan

  • Brian May's guitar elevates this song to a whole 'nother level.

  • Now i am a huge meatloaf fan, have been since 1977,but for anyone to say this is better that the original with jim steinman i think are on drugs, when bat out of hell 2 came out and i saw all the old songs/remakes on it i really did feel like a lemon and wanted my money back, and hatstalker what a stupid thing to say, meatloaf would not have existed without jim steinman nd bonnie tyler is famous only because of jim steiman who is a song writing genius.

  • @jambo68 please remember that jim made this songs for meatloaf is more a package deal they are like peanutbutter and jam together is explosive but they work for separately too meat has very good albums alone and he sings this song the way it was intented for him just increible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • I dont see how anyone likes the steinman version better. All of his versions are too "soft" in fact this song could use a grittier or dirtier production. Something in the vein of heavy/power metal. The lyrics, references, passion and feeling require the metal/ opera sound. Tho Jim is a great lyrical songwriter his sound just does not cut it for his tunes. These are rock/heavy metal balladesque type lyrics they do not work in soft/pop sound. IMO I think these songs may need to be amplified!

  • It´s very good. VERY good. But i acctually think Jim Steinman does it better on his record called "Bad For Good"

  • This song is awesome as it comes back on itself :D

  • It's weird in a good way that this song recorded in 2008 looks like if it was recorded in 1975

  • I want to wrap myself around you like a winter skin.

  • the original by jim steinman is a lot more better than this

  • no, and that is why bonny tyler and meatloaf are more famous than him, jim writes songs and plays piano well and can sing, but no where near as good as meatloaf

  • He will always be in his prime.

  • I wasn't built for confort but I was built 4 SPEED!!!

  • ... I don't THINK ... (correction)

  • A very difficult song to get 'off the ground' - I don't anyone has achieved it, yet - Loaf and Steinman included.

  • He ain't done yet will have another albom mid 2010.saw 3 bat tour in boston. BEST CONCERT I'VE EVER BEEN TO!!! SO FAR MY FAVORITE ALBUM OF HIS AND HAVE THEM ALL EVEN A FEW RARE (BLIND BEFORE I STOP MIDNOGHT AT THE LOST AND FOUND AND MORE..)

  • its a pity meat couldnt record this back when it was written for him, this is good but it wold have been so much better if he had done it in his prime

  • Amazing song!

  • Brian May guitar on a Jim Steinman song sung by Meat Loaf :-O

    Oh my god, magic exists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Isn't it perfect? LOL. Queen and Meat Loaf together in some capacity. And they could not have found a better guitar player :)

  • brian may guitar jim steinman on piano meatloaf singing and joey jordson (sedated of course)

when that happens i will believe that there is a god, untill then its all just pish

  • Meat Loaf + Brian May + Jim Steinman = Hold on to your ass!

  • fuckin awesome love it
