man i never thought of pokemon like that...I've been playing pokemon for 10 years im 14 and i can see what people are geting at. But if you think about it for a moment kids woulden't even know about this stuff let alone think about it later on unless someone told them about it and try to make it sound bad. What i realy trying to get at is that i belive that people are over analzing stuff that kids will not know about untill later in life. anywaz thanks for puting up this video u r awsome :)

I'm not sure if anyone else said this, but I think in 2010, PETA put to sleep more animals that the American Kennel Club or something like that. And they believe that not even pets should exist. I know for a fact that I got this info from The Big Picture on the Escapist, so check that out if ya wanna fact check me.

Here's the thing, Pokemon aren't animals. In a way, you can look at them as trained fighters. When you watch a Boxing match, sometime, they fight until one of the fighters is knockout, you don't say that it is human cruelty, don't you?

From what I could find, PETA has funded the legal defense of ALF/ARM members accused of eco-terrorism and property destruction, which, wrong or not, is not the same as doing it themselves. Paying for someone's lawyer is still legal. Is it a questionable loophole allowing them to sneak around their "only legal methods" motto? Absolutely.

I like your videos and I moderately agree with trainers being cruel to Pokemon, however in the show we know that all the Pokemon we never use are taken care of in a big farm. Plus in the Pokemon universe the only industry is Pokemon, if trainers and companies didn't use them than the Pokeworld would go into a depression.

Eh, I kinda dissagree with the whole trainers are assholes thing.

Pokemon love to fight, and being abandonded by their trainer is like your wife telling you you're a failure, they kind of give up everything t go on this grand ass kicking adventure with the trainer just for the lulz. The manga actually shows a ton of "liberated" pokes all sad and depresed because they think they've failed their trainer and has lost their love.

Have you ever noticed that the only pokemon that appear to trainers are stage 1&2 evolutions? Its because those pokemon arent fully grown, they want to get stronger and choose to show themselves to a trainer. Have you ever notced that not a single legendary is in a random encounter? Its because the trainer seeks them out, regular pokemon dont do that.

I could go on and on about teritorial/violent/peaceful pokemon/IRLanimals, but only pkmn choose to fight of its own free will.

There's one big thing that sets Pokemon apart from Bloodsports. The Pokemon are intellegent beings, and do it by choice. The Wild Pokemon that faint are cared for by other wild pokemon.

If you recall about the few episodes of Pokemon, they have shown Ash's pokemon roaming free doing whatever they want. For example, Ash's Snorlax eating apples and sleeping near a apple tree or Bulbasaur being in charge of sustaining order of all the pokemon in the backyard, or wild life I should say, of Professor Oak's lab. If you like it or not that's your decision.
