imo i recommend giving this game a try. not nessesarily buy it but barrow it or rent it and if you like it buy it cause it has some nice dlc. i cant garantee youll love it but its no where as bad as critics say. they sort of like to bash on non 2d sonic games.
its 4 day levels and 2 night levels of each country. although the day levels consist of 2 hard versions of already existing levels and 2 new day levels. it doesnt really sound like much but its very cheap. only around 250 microsoft points for each level pack
its green forest from sa2. and 3.5...wow now that is just plain wrong...they must of been bribed if they consider it WORSE then 06 (one of the worst games ever imo)
I like the game, its probably better for the 360 though, i own a Wii. My only complaint is the camera angles for the Werehog, you couldn't change no matter how much you tried, and it would have helped if you could.
fortunatly, once you have the 120 sun medals, your rewarded with the best level in the entire game, which also happens to be the longest, so at least its worth it

When you say "GREAT", you mean the XBOX 360 / PS3 version, right? Its twice as good as the Wii and PS2 versions.
One thing Idont get is why the critics hate it so much? I even found the werehog to be fun. It reminds me of Kingdom Hearts

yeah imo the wii version kind of sucks since your playing the werehog more.
the werehog also reminds me of kingdom hearts with the exp and for some reason it reminds me of anti form in kh2.

So, I just beat the game around an hour ago, And you know what, I agree with this review and everything you said.
Gameplay is amazing ect ect.
Sound is Great
Story is Good, but not the best
Werehog levels are long, decently fun.
And the one thing I hate HATE, is the fact you need 120 sun medals for the last level, Ugh.
And btw,. Nice review.
