I got the same effect using the ePSxe emulator, and turning up some of the graphics. It runs smoothly, and it cleans up the graphics nicely for all my games, including FFVII, FFIX, and Chrono Cross. Google the emulator name. Don't ask me where to get ISOs though; I made my own using the discs.

Argh, just the MIDI in the PC versions of FF wasted the whole game. Play with epsxe 1.7.0 with max options and opengl2 driver and you have the great quality music and great graphics. Emulating is just great! FF7 as it was supposed to be.

If yes your file you loaded is good!!

Two of the files inside this zip file are mistakenly id's as virus!! "it is false they are not virus!!"

So it might be your virus scanner removing those files automatically causing this error !!

turn off your virus scanner for a bit when you unzip!! and over writing the Original installation of your final fantasy 7 install!!

run the game!! "keep your virus scanner off!!"

Thanks for this great show and tell! The game looks awesome and it lifts the entire game to a higher level. What I was wondering though, Is how you got it to work on Windows 7.

I installed the game fully, and as soon as I try and play it the screen goes black for 2 secs and then says that ff7.exe isn;t working anymore. Does the process you describe in the 'information' section solve this problem?
