@slvgdvg This is from the scene in Children of a Lesser God where Hurt's character is trying to understand what it is like to not have hearing. Being underwater was the one place where James and Sarah could meet as equals. Interestingly, this was added in the movie, but is not a part of the original stage production for obvious reasons.
i watched this with my friend who is implanted and she was like " you dont need her! i love you ! take me!" it was really funny. compleatly not the point because she speaks and doesnt sign, but the love was there.
Its an amazing synth based soundtrack that sounds even more incredible on the cd than in the movie. Michael Convertino took soundtracks into a whole new realm.
verla en ingles es mucho mejor que en español. En español no es lo mismo la forma que hablan, como lo dicen no es igual!! si alguien puede bajarla estaria barbaro porque la quiero ver la peli en ingles!!!
There was something about cellulite back in the 80s that didn't translate very well into the 90s, at least, not artistically. I think digital filmmaking will reach a similar peak in another 20 years.
William Hurt at his absolute creative peak as an actor (though he still does fine to this day) Just sit back and watch his brilliance in this film.

I might have taken your quite valid opinion more seriously if you hadn't sworn at me. I don't think abusive language is exactly morally upright.

I saw the movie yesterday, and I have to say that ... I love it! I fell in love with William Hurt! :D.
Two excellent interpretations, a beautiful story ... Can anyone upload the scene on the swimming pool?? When William "fall" into the pool??
