Which is fine, but that's not a documentary. That's a movie based on a real life event, which can be very different from how it truly happened. Although none of the source material was doctored in any way, almost all of it was either taken directly out of context or conveniently left out, in order to paint a picture that Billy Mitchell is a scum of the earth cheater and that Steve Wiebe was not given the recognition he deserved. For example, Steve and Billy DID have a head to head battle.

(continued from last post) Furthermore, there are even photos and interviews clearly showing that at least sometime during the events of this movie, Billy and Steve were downright social with each other. Now, it's no secret that Billy has a sort of arrogance to him, and is even lampshaded during one of his interviews, but the issue is the truthfulness of the events portrayed, not whether or not Billy is enjoyable to be around. I encourage those who believe in this movie to do additional research

This can hardly be called a documentary. Although none of the source material was doctored in any way, almost all of it was either taken directly out of context or conveniently left out, in order to paint a picture that Billy Mitchell is a scum of the earth cheater and that Steve Wiebe was not given the recognition he deserved. For example, Steve and Billy DID have a head to head battle.

Great documentary. I believe the scene where Billy Mitchell and his wife walk through the arcade sums up the whole movie. Billy is a dick and Steve has OCD. But it was great to step back into the 80's for a moment and reminisce about the days of the arcades. Honestly though, I cannot imagine sitting in front of a Donkey Kong game for 2 and 1/2 hours!!!!! Oh, and what was with Steve Sanders creepy relationship with Billy Mitchell?

Initially I thought this docu was meant to be funny but it quickly sucked me in and I couldn't help but get on Steve's corner. The movie did a great job at showing the contrast between Steve's and Billy's personalities. It's clear that Steve just wanted to come out on top for once in his life while while Billy not only clung on to his achievement but allowed it to turn him into an arrogant and unlikable person.
I'm glad to see Steve come out on top.
