Bulleh Shah has written so bravely, honestly and tackled the most important mistakes that humans make that it makes me admire him over and over again. Most authors are afraid to tackle the caste system, the claim that one group is superior by the fact that they are the children of a god or saint or that one religion is superior to another or one color is superior to another, etc. Bullah treats every person equally and puts the poor dancing girl at the same level as the rich lady. Sher Miandad Khan has done an excellent rendition of Bulley Shah's kalaam. Bulley is the greatest poet philosopher of the last 1300 years. He should be taught in the schools of Pakistan and India. We would then have no wars between the two brotherly countries and all problems will be solved amicably. Milahi
