What's the reward of saving the "little sisters" versus harvesting them?

Well you get less ADAM when saving them than when you harvest them but you get a gift from Tenembaun (I think it was spelled like that) when saving them.

Besides the gifts from Tenenbaum you also get the "good" ending. other than that, it doesn't really change anything.
