  • @trish1d yep but he;'s dead now. R.i.P

  • @trish1d yea

  • I was actually inspired by Theo's change from the first episode to this one where he was doing so well in college and giving back to his community and everything.

  • i wish i could doubledutch like that

  • Theo is one of the only TV characters to actually mature and get responsible when he grew up, just like most real-life people do. Theo went from this slacker teenager to a responsible adult who mentored kids the right way. Many TV characters start off as normal then get dumb in later seasons. Harvey from Sabrina The Teenage Witch also started off as goofy and naive, but in the 4th season and on, he became a lot wiser and became one of the most responsible characters on the show.

  • @Donniesmith1975 Too bad he never got over the mooching thing and the can't concetrate on a woman long enough to say her name thing. He would have been a great guy.

  • @Donniesmith1975 Too bad he never got over the mooching thing and the can't concetrate on a woman long enough to say her name thing. He would have been a great guy. I will admit though. He did grow as a student and had a promising future when the show ended.

  • Then your friend got to be Dominican.

  • @TEEYEASCHOOLS he is somali

  • Thank you for uploading this video! One of another classic episode, and I like how Theo is tutoring at a community center. For a man that overcame his dyslexia, he is my inspiration! Also, I love the double dutch scene!

  • OMG it's the chief!!! lol!

  • Lynn Thigpen is wonderful. I remember her as The Chief. Such a wonderful woman and from The District on CBS. Great actress and woman and I miss her terribly.

  • Oh yeah, she was an amazing actress. Also, she was the woman in Morgan Freeman's film, "Lean On Me." But, I remember her in "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?" on PBS. She is an amazing actress who will be missed.

  • I remember Lean On Me and she was great in that. She always brought a lot of passion to every role. Especally at The Chief. She pushed for excellence and she cared deeply about the folks that worked around her.

  • Yes she did. That's why it was a major loss, because I grew up watching "Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego?"

  • Oh I did too Jeremy. Did you see The District on CBS? She was in that show too. I was a big fan of law shows like that and Walker Texas Ranger as a kid. She played Ella, the assistant to the chief of police played by Craig T. Nelson. She and Craig were wonderful together. The show was hard to watch after Lynne died but if you like law shows, you would like The District.

  • Oh yeah, I remember that show. I didn't watch too much, but she did a fantastic job. Lynne Thigpen is from my hometown in Joliet, IL, and there is a school named after her. (I'm from Chicago, but she was born in Joliet.)

  • @JeremyForest Yeah, I used to watch her a lot on that show when I was in North Trenton.

  • Oh cool!

  • @JeremyForest same here! one of my earliest memories is watchin that show with my dad. it was one of the few kid shows he actually liked lol

  • @JeremyForest Yeah, it was a Surprise that she died too early yo.

  • Yes it was, but she is now at peace.

  • @JeremyForest For sure.
