I liked the Masquerader storyline all right enough, but after the Loving Murders the year before, it all seemed too much.

I told that remembrance to Lisa at a local South Jersey convention where she was sitting at a table signing autographs. The beautiful and petite Lisa was in the area visiting relatives.I lucked out and found someone on ebay who sold me her entire tape collection of this soap opera. It's cool to see how many good actors started out on this show

i never saw this show when it aired but it seems interesting. iassume the girl who was talking to the dead body is carla? this show seems way ahead of it's time. i know that had a story about a transexxual

Yes, that was Carla Soleito (Tony's cousin - the Soleitos were a core family on this serial). Why Amy Van Horne never appeared to do much of anything after TC was cancelled is beyond me. Nearly every other cast member ended up at least temporarily employed after its demise. And yes, Carlotta Chang played not only one of daytime's lone Asian characters but a transsexual to boot. They, sadly, dropped the ball soon after the reveal. Apparently '96 was still a tad bit early...
