there are several islands in the Solomons that are of Polynesian heritage. One o fthem is Anuta. The other two are Isikaina and Tikopia. Along the same trench you have Kapigamarangi and Nukuoro that falls with the Federated States of Micronesia. I am writing a thesis on mythological beliefs of these small Polynesian islands. And for the record, these islands are Polynesian than Tahiti, Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Tokelau, Cook Islands, and many other bigger Polynesian islands.

Wow...catching birds ... We do the same too back home ... everything about this island is soo familiar. I miss doing those activities especially trying to attract the birds ... brrbrrbrrbrr ... I miss home just by watching this clip... and the frigates ...awww i miss my pet....I called him SYDNEY ... :) cute eh? lol .... thanks for sharing again ... omg im samoan and i can almost understand what woman in the red shirt said...almost like Polynesian language..chief-ariki(anuta, cook island, maori, tahiti), ali'i(samoan), aliki(tokelauan); but-kae(anuta, tokelauan), ae(samoan), maybe the anuta is the true cradle of Polynesian but Anutans look more Samoan than Tokelauan, Cook islanders, Maoris, Tahitians

wow..u need to do sum more research..Anuta is a polynesian outlier-polynesian island not in Polynesia..There are more..Sum in solomon islands, vanuatu, PNG, new caledonia, and micronesia..dese islands original inhabitants are from polynesia sumwhere..sum from samoa..sum from tonga..sum from tuvalu..sum from other places..so yeah..and the language they speak is polynesian also..they are polynesian..das why u can understand them

@samoantoa08 No, you're wrong, based on linguistic & cultural similarities, plus archaeological evidence, Anuta is Austronesian like the rest of the Pacific Islanders, including South East Asia (S.E.A.) and Madagascar. Do your research.

@samoantoa08 How about them being human beings created in the image of God the rest of Humanity? I guess that's why the Tsunami hit Samoa, because of this dangerous pride as if Samoans are righteous over all human beings.

@samoantoa08 There is nothing significant about Samoa, when absolutely nobody ever wins an Olympic medal, or even contribute scientifically or engineering feats to benefit society's woes. So don't even go there. Grant your dance is quite the entertainment, but your dance doesn't heal AIDS, or send a man to the moon, or even win an Olympic Medal so get over your futile pride. Heck, no Samoan ladies ever win any international beauty contest too.

Yeah because there are millions and millions of Samoans to provide for a good size of athletic pool to make olympic medalist of. There are only about 600-700 thousand samoans in the world. Samoas' population is only about 250,000. That's everybody. A good amount of that population are children and ellderly people. Leaves it with only about half the population to be able to be an olympic medalist. And den guess what? No everyone is an athlete. So the pool gets smaller. Ur just so dumb and ignoran
