@canobd2 The symptoms that my car experiences are the very same that one would have with a bad/dirty IACV, but mine is carburetor. Where would I look to fix this? Idles erratic in PARK, horrible in REVERSE, better in NEURAL, and feels like it wants to stall when I come to a stop in DRIVE. Thanks.

i messed up the screw head and now the head is broken and the other screw is stripped away..what can i do

You might have to drill out the broken screw, however it's hard to say without seeing it.

I'm no mechanic, but I have to replace the IAC on my 1997 VW Jetta. It actually looks easier than in this video. I think i'll give it a try.
