Wow, I see so many negative comments on here...I mean yes, she could have talked to him (and she did a bit towards the end) but, would you rather she not change him? Most babies, from newborn on up, do NOT like getting their diapers changed. The reason may change (newborns are "chilled" and want to be held, older toddlers want to MOVE) but give her a break...

Ya know I also noticed that you took A WHOLE YEAR to reply to what I said about the way you go about changing your baby's diaper. what are you talking about lacygirls! that's what vasaline is for-so they don't get a diaper rash. maybe your kids never cried but most babies do cry when being changed because its uncomfortable. That girl is a great mom who was working fast and knew exactly what she was doing!

Yeah, the mother SHOULD, definitely, TALK to her baby while changin the diaper...do sweet cooing to baby in nice GENTLE tones...keep sayin I love you, to baby...kiss on him & love on him while changin...she's SO COLD w/this baby!!!! Plus, he must've had ONE THICK umbilical cord...look at that stump!!!!! About the size of a QUARTER. YUPPERS!!!! SHE NEEDS TO TALK NICE SWEET COOING TO HER BABY; THEN, HE MAY NOT CRY SO BADLY.
