  • there is NO indication for HVLAs... this is ruthless!!

  • he's wearing a lab coat! he MUST know what he's talking about

  • So what you're saying here is.... that it releases nitrogen?

  • Confusing inaccurate explanations like this one combined with adjusting people outside a meet like a circus side show is just one of the reasons Chiropractic is still a second class citizen. We can do better!

  • this dude is creepy lol

  • Only chiropractors put Dr. before their name and their degree D.C. (Doctor of Chiropractic) after it. That's redundant. What are they worried about? People may not think they're real doctors?

  • not very good nor scientific explanation, but hey i still have trouble explaining this stuff. he seemed a bit stuck it dark ages.

  • haha what a QUACKER!

  • Seems like alot of guessing for a chiropractic adjustment? And why in hell is he going so fast it's like the video is in fast forward?

  • What is this guy talking about?

    No nitrogen releases at all.

A small bubble forms within the joint due to the depressurisation resulting from a rapidly stretched joint capsule.

    The bubbles pop.

This is not part of the therapeutic affect of a chiropractic adjustment.

Why not talk aboutthe actual mechanisms that the research supports?

They are more relevant to athletic performance anyway!

    Also VO2 max adjustment?

This guy should review what V02 max is

V misleading to this young athlete

  • @goffen12 The "bubble" in the joint does actually have some nitrogen in it, but I don't know why the hell he keeps talking about it. I do agree though, this guy is kinda different.

  • @goffen12 the "bubble" you're talking about is a mixture of Nitrogen and CO2 that gets trapped in the joint. Upon depressurization, high velo, low torque/amp movement, (the adjustment) this is released from the joint in the form of the popping or cracking sound heard. The net result is an increase in circulation to promote "healing" of the joint for lack of a better term.

@karmic454 the Nitrogen/CO2 trapped is released into the bloodstream and filter out by the kidneys.

  • very cool, thanks!

  • very nice - do not listen to the naysayers - avoid all negativity...

  • avoid all reason and logic also.

  • what a load of bull

  • if it releases nitrogen, where does the nitrogen go?

  • @karmic454 people don't fart because of their malnutrition, but they just exhaust nitrogen.lol
