I would like to upgrade to the XB kit on my 08 Liberty TB STi. but keep the OE muffers like in the vid. Can you give me an idea of how close to the XB kit power and torque increases, you get with the stock muffler retained? Also is the noise closer to standard or closer to full XB exhaust volume?

We have done many XB kits like this, the most recent was our last tuning trip 3 weeks ago to Melbourne.

The power variation is small as the STi mufflers are pretty good.

The noise is yes closer to std.

How restrictive are the stock STI mufflers? I know it would be nice to keep them stock looking but surely some new mufflers will help with the power figures?

Our power kit comes with new mufflers, we also offer an option with the sti rear mufflers and an adapter kit to fit.

The Sti mufflers are good, and look great
