@SageDread At 2:35, there is an easier way: press "R" and type 90 or -90 depending on the rotation around the axis of the camera. this will speed up your development. If that confused you, please tell me and I will explain.
I think I know what you mean. When you put the cursor between two windows and it turns to two arrows, right-click, choose split screen, move the mouse to the point you want to split, and click. You can choose the viewpoints from there.
I'm a beginer of this program, and I have to do a project for my school, and it goes like this, a FPS. That's not my problem, but I don't know how to combine the mouselook script. on the console is always giving me errors.
You're not alone. I'VE been using Blender for almost a YEAR (and I'm getting pretty good at it) and I STILL don't understand the programming language of Python. I still use it! :)
thx, but you still use orthographic mode. it gives me a headache. go into the user prefs, select turntable and auto perspective. then hit ctrl u. the changes are now save in your default settings.
@SageDread Also, after you press "R", press "X" and then type 90 or -90

"180 degrees to the left" hehe 180 degrees is directly backwards, there is no left and right.
also, you can just type the value, you don't have to use your mouse to rotate
Press R then type the value 180
fab186 2 years ago
excaxt measurement: press r (rotate), then x, y or z (axes) en the number of degrees u want to rotate. Example: r, x, 90

ghyselsguy65 2 years ago
...to turn the camera, just rotate it in the directio you want, and press 90... much easier... work with scale and extrude tooo...
Tonefeeder 3 years ago
or if you hold ctrl it will only rotate in 10 degree increments

This tutorial isnt for beginners. You might want to learn the basics before you continue this tutorial.

I've been working with blender and now I know many things, the only thing, is that i've never programed as you do on this tutorial.
It hasn't got too many relation with visual basic I mean. :S
Don't worry, I will continue my progress on Blender.
The only thing is that the following video of this tutorial you've done, it doesn't run...
OK, as I said again, don't worry, I wont you to lose time answering my dubts. Probably next year I'll be more available to ask you some things.
Thanks for all
