I'm moderate not some liberal. First I would say because a lot of the US can't afford it one of my co-workers is 20 and living on her own, she had an accident and had no health care, so she needed to stay in the hospital to get surgery. The doctors messed up and charged her more to stay longer, now she's in debt by 15,000 dollars, and she didn't do anything wrong, that's why health care needs to be cheaper or free. I think if something bad happened to you, you wouldn't want to sale your house.

Healthcare is not a market commodity like a car because the profit incentive doesn't apply. The more you provide, the more you profit is a commodity. Private insurance companies only profit by providing LESS which is why healthcare (which is public concern for safety for all) must be treated the same way we treat fire protection. "Socialized" public libraries, fire, police, roads, schools, social security, Medicare, etc. do NOT make us a socialized nation & neither would national INSURANCE.

I'm moderate not some liberal. First I would say because a lot of the US can't afford it one of my co-workers is 20 and living on her own, she had an accident and had no health care, so she needed to stay in the hospital to get surgery. The doctors messed up and charged her more to stay longer, now she's in debt by 15,000 dollars, and she didn't do anything wrong, that's why health care needs to be cheaper or free. I think if something bad happened to you, you wouldn't want to sale your house.
