Why did you build almost your entire fort network just within your workable territory? By settling on the coast, you've already severely limited the number of land tiles at your disposal so you're gonna feel the full effect of the loss of all those good tiles to forts: We're talking hundreds of hammers, commerce and science down the drain.
@Thunk00 That's something I noted a few times and a point that I want to address in the near future. This entire game has a number of poor decisions in a game type (one city challenge) that already requires that you don't go willy nilly on decision making. It should be noted that you only start to lose from tiles when you both no longer have tiles for citizens to work AND no longer have specialist slots, but this is an entire topic I intend to bring up in the future.
