  • Robust technique, round and accurate sound, serious performance.

  • Tight playing... I prefer Barrueco's version... A piece like this, even though Major, shouldn't be played so upbeat.

  • i love this tune.

  • Excellent!

  • big words strangerClock, I would love to hear your interpretation

  • it never ceases to amaze me how people can say such hateful and negative things in such a vulgar way, and then have the nerve to expect others to take them seriously, like what they're saying is "intellectual" or "artistic"???????

  • thank u for posting... just beautiful. has anyone in recent years devoted a whole cd to Scarlatti? if anyone knows, let me know where i might find it.

  • Why did this get negative votes???

  • @adam2eve Whatever "recent years" means, I can cite Anne Queffélec on piano (best K.27 version I've ever heard, and God knows I've heard dozens of versions), Scott Ross (on the harpsichord) recorded all 555 sonatas many years ago, and Michelangelo Carbonara (piano) recorded 42 sonatas (40 of which I had never heard) in 2010, just received the double-CD two weeks ago. Unless you meant for guitar?
