I love VH, both with Dave and with Sammy, but it's more VH with Dave. He is nothing like he used to be-he looks like one of those old guys who acts crazy. What the fuck is up with his walk as well? He is tripping. I saw them in concert back in Jan, it was good, just wish we were closer.

Is DLR goofy or what? What the hell happened to him? He used to be the coolest lead singer that a lot of dudes envied. I guess you have to be live at the concert and then the batton twirling , the cheesy grins and corny captains hat looks cool, but for me seeing it on Youtube, it's sorta goofy. I can forgive Dave because of Ed and Alex's great musicianship, plus I'm a hugh VH fan. But Roth even walks around on stage goofy looking...oh well.

I know what you mean...but Ive seen em 2 times on this tour and when your there trust me as soon as you see him, your like"oh, yeah...THATS why hes the best." Its truley amazing and some tunes are a lot harder and darker live than even i could have thought- i.e. unchained, cradle will rock and atomic punk- theres an even rawer, darker side to them live...I cant really explain it, but its not like hearin em in your car or living room. those 3 tunes especially. in a word "relentless".

At the 2-20-08 Lauderdale show, toward the end of the performance, Ed stumbled forward and into his mic stand knocking the stand over and falling flat. Ed lay there for 30 seconds looking to me as if he was just getting himself together and catching his breath. Meanwhile DLR was laughing and giving Ed thumbs up. Eddie got up and finished the show. At the end of Jump I got up and left directly, but I read here that afterward Eddie threw his guitar and amp... one person wrote thrown at DLR.

It appears this must have been from the show on Feb 12th. In the videos posted here from Feb 20th DLR mounts and 'rides' the inflatable microphone. In this show EVH appears to be having a good time and the playing is pretty tight, the show on the 20th is not. In 5 hours I was supposed to be enjoying my 1st DLR/VH experience here in Dallas, having only seen SamHalen/VanHagar previously, so I'm THOROUGHLY BUMMED.

C'mon Eddie banish yourself to a cabin in the woods or something and dry out!!

Eddie's solo was pretty sad. It was very disjointed and he seemed a little out of it. Dave didn't do the Ice Cream Man rap that he usually does. The others were in fine form.
