  • Your father was a brave man, and we are very thankful for his service for our country. Thank You for sharing his story. He will be missed.

  • Hero's all. My Dad was in the 335th Company K. He never did tell me much. He had nighmares until he died. He is resting in peace with all of the other heros of that time.

  • That guy that told him to go mush have sh*t himself when he saw him get to the gun

  • Probably :)

  • How lovley, my late father has the bronze star from World War II his name is Edward Dryhurst-Roberts. God bless them all xxx

  • Do you have picture of your father? Did he tell you some of his stories?

  • Holy shit dude your lucky, i almost never talk to these men because they never talk about that stuff. Mike died before he told me anything, and i endded up with the little things he brought back. what you have is a story to last a life time. If only i talked to mike, he was one of the last living ww2 vets born in new mexico.

  • We were really lucky to find these veterans. Very few are able to share like this because the memories haunt them. This was really hard for him to tell because this event also gives him nightmares I think. A lot of Germans died because of what he did. He did his job but he didn't like all the killing.

  • yea,all i know about mike was he drove a m3 grayhound, and him holding a natzi flag by the ryne river with a knock out pather in the backround. later a him shooting a mosin and other guns, with some russians they meat up in germany. his wifes has thouse pictures ill ask her if i can barrow them.

  • That would be awesome if you could post those pictures online!!!

  • very interesting!

  • Thanks.... let me know if you have any questions for Mr. Bennett next time I interview him.

  • How did the other fellow react to that? How did everyone react to it for that matter? And if he wants to talk about it what's the closest he's come to being shot, other than the plane that came at him. Which was a pretty damn good story :P. Not that it matters but I say what's up and I wish him good health

  • It does really matter to him. He loves all these comments. I print them for him and share them with him. It really makes him happy that so many people are watching his videos. You wouldn't believe how much all this means to him.
