It's a nice theory but I would hope it doesn't turn out true.  Ghost was added to MW2 more or less so he could serve as a replacement for Gaz from MW1, and like Gaz, die. I don't see why a disposable character would be the backbone of the next game's story. I would much rather see what happens with Soap and Price, as well as the Americans. It would be interesting if the American characters from MW2 returned.

I really like your theory. Its very accurate, I thought on something else when I saw the analysis of the trailer on another vid, which also said that the guy in the shadows could be ghost.

My theory: do not forget something. Ghost is not only the man, its also the mask, I wouldn't be surprised seeing Soap getting his revenge with Ghost's mask, which there's got to be more than one. Still i found this vid's theory more possibly to occur xD

I kind of agree with you, and it would be a paradigme shift type moment if he became evil, but in all likleyhood he works with Makarov to fuck up Shepard. Ghost is hardcore SAS, he's not gonna turn on Queen and country over the actions of a "bloody yank". The gear Ghost wears is pretty common in SF communitys and his stance is typical for anyone with tactical training. All in all, it does'nt have to be him, but if its not, the game is out the window!

I don't think Makarov would've been able to save him with all of Shepherd's men being so close, and I doubt he would get turned evil. Maybe he would just torture Ghost for intel?

I'm not against the idea of Ghost being alive, but I'd prefer it if we're on the same team.
